When I booked my rooms online I my only option was a standard delux room. When I check in what should I ask for? I think I read there are 2 towers, north and south, any one better than the other? Any good views to ask for. Looking for the biggest and nicest room I can get with 2 beds.

The south tower is a bit nicer & a lot quieter than the north tower (which overlooks Fremont Street....think concerts & hourly FSE light shows).

The south tower elevators are next to the front desk.

The "suites" aren't much to brag about. The bathroom is larger.

If you tip $20 to get a better room, you may be disappointed, as all of the rooms are old.

    Addendum:

I don't think that I was fair to the Four Queens in my review.

Is it old & not very exciting in the rooms? Yes.

But, I keep going back there. I like the casino, Magnolia's, etc.

So, I do plan to head back there for a couple of days out of my next weeklong excursion.

Thanks, if South is nicer Ill just ask for a room there. Noise won't be an issue for me since I don't go to bed till 5-6AM. I don't plan on tippin $20, seems like itd be a waste at this hotel.

The rooms at 4 Queens are pretty basic no matter which tower you're in. The north tower is above Fremont Street so it's really loud when the bands are playing. The south tower is preferable to most people.

The rooms are basic - clean, comfortable and cheap. As you mentioned, the $20 trick would be wasted here.

I dont think the $20 would be wasted if you can get a suite. I think the suites are actually really nice and spacious.

Lol, I guess that would be an issue. I am not sure if any of them have 2 beds, I have only seen ones with 1 bed.

I just got back, 3 nights at 4 Queens- south tower room -quiet-clean-and comfortable. Be sure to see the Mike Hammer show, check for $5 coupon and see a good show for $15. Magic and interactive comedy with audience.

No. There are no good views at 4Q to ask for. IMHO there isn't a view available that's really noteworthy.

Considering the location (and I stay at Four Queens frequently) getting a quiet room (South tower or odd numbered room in north tower) is the major consideration. All rooms are convenient to Fremont Street as compared to most any other downtown property and south tower rooms are especialy convenient for valet drop-off and pick-up.

    Enjoy your stay!

    Jacuzzi

I'll be at 4Q on Sunday, and really enjoy it. I usually tip $20 and we enjoy the jacuzzi suites, which are in the north tower.
