Mostly anywhere I travel has free internet in the rooms. It looks like Vegas hotels do not offer this? So I need to take my mini laptop to keep up on some work while in Vegas, what do I do? I am staying at the Paris.

My cel picked up the Paris wifi for free, without a charge. A laptop may be a different story. If you are gold and pay the resort fee, it is free,

Guessing your travel does not include the higher end hotels like Mariott, Hyatt, Westin etc that do charge for internet.

We are booked at the Hyatt in Scottsdale AZ next month and they have free WiFi. Hampton Inn had it in Portland, ME.

Hyatt Regency Resort at Gainey Ranch? One of my favorite Hyatt properties.

Most of the full-service properties charge for internet, except to those who have middle/top-tier status with their loyalty programs. Fairmont gives all President's Club (their loyalty program) members free Wi-Fi, even to those with the most basic status.

For Vegas, if the resort/hotel charges you a resort fee then your internet is included in that fee.
