I would be one vote for KA.

I have seen them both and enjoyed them both, but KA is special.

Go see KA. Zarkana sucks! If you want to shell out the money MJ One is an excellent show

Ka is my second favorite Cirque show (first is LOVE).

No other show can do with its stage what Ka does. It really is unique.

KA is definitely better, but the show is currently missing its finale battle and the show is not very exciting without it. The show builds and builds and, instead of hitting the high point of that battle, it goes to a slow acting scene and then the cast bows. It's a big loss for such an amazing show.

    Ka is the best!!!

Zarkana could use more time to work out kinks.

I saw KA back in March and Zarkana Thursday night. Ka is amazing. Although, I have to say that Zarkana moves right along without any of the slower acting scenes present. It goes from one act to another with very little "fluff" in between. I would say KA would be my choice of the two though.

Is this a permanent change? Or just while an investigation is conducted?

At this point I would call it "indefinite" rather than "permanent". My understanding is that it's been removed while they conduct the investigation, but there's also no guarantee that it'll come back. It likely depends on what the investigation uncovers; if the act is otherwise safe and there was a fixable problem, then that's one thing, but it's entirely possible that they'll conclude there's no way to make it safe enough to return.

Exactly this. It was announced that the scene is removed until at least the investigation finishes. They REALLY need to bring that scene back since it's the climax of the show and takes up a total of around 9 minutes of a 90-minute show. That's a very large part of the show to replace with a scene in which absolutely nothing happens. 10 shows a week for 10 years without an accident is pretty good, so hopefully they figure out what went wrong, fix it or add an additional fail-safe, and bring back the scene.

I do hope that Cirque has a team of people spending this time reworking the show just in case. Either create a new spectacular finale or rework the flow of the show so it doesn't end on a low note and have this alternate show ready to be swapped in if the decision is made to remove the old Final Battle. The scene that is there now cannot be the new ending as it is terrible.

    Hey Now!!!!

Well, so far I appreciate all the feedback, and am leaning towards KA. Maybe by Christmas they will have a new finale.

Yeah, the show is completely disjointed with the lack of the battle scene. You can tell they are preparing for a showdown and then you hear one explosion, and then they are happy they won. I wish I wouldn't have talked my g/f and myself into going to LOVE in May instead. The current version of Ka is still better than that show. Disclaimer: I am 33. Outside of the worthless ending, I definitely liked Ka, but it would be a lot better if they can eventually resume the original ending...or at least "some sort of battle". Hell, a ground battle at least... They could do better to fill the gap without risking their safety.

If a new final scene is made, I will definitely consider going back to see it. Certainly will if myVegas comps me the tickets.

I just redeemed two tix for Ka today for my December trip. I've already seen Love, and the reviews of Zarkana are pretty bad. And Believe is Believe (I would possibly consider going to this if they GAVE me 208,000 LPs to attend). I wish they offered two tix for O. Hopefully the Ka finale is resolved within the next couple months.

Not positive, but I think all the Vegas Cirque shows run 90 minutes.
