Seems probable. Vegas is really big right now on replacing very good (or at least servicable) steakhouses with high-profile crap that costs twice as much and is half as good. See Harrah's for an example.

I recently read an article that confirms this; the only date I've seen mentioned is early 2014.

Very disappointed to see The Range close down; it was one of my favorites. Haven't tried Ruth's Chris though yet, so I can't comment.

Ruth's Chris is a good steak house for a chain.

Ruth Chris is the in and out as to the Outback is Mc D's.
I've never had a bad meal at Ruth's. OTOH, I try not to do any chains in Vegas. Hell, I've got 200 gift cards for Chris but I won't take them with me.

So you are trying to say that I would like Outback better? The one time I had In-n-Out, I was wishing I had McDonald's instead.

No, McD's is dog food. In & Out by most are the best burger as far as a chain goes.

Saying McDonalds is dog food is an insult to most dog foods.

Great meal, too bad they are closing

Because of messages about Bally's closing, we made it a point to try it for the first time.

We ate at Bally's Steakhouse Sunday night and had a great meal. What an old school setting and great staff. Three of us ordered spinach, asparagus, mac and cheese as sides. My son had a fillet which he loved and my wife and I split a bone in Rib eye. lovely.

Our waiter has been there over 30 years and all the waiters will have to apply with the new steakhouse. They are not supposed to talk about it but what's the point, the word is out.

Also, we had to pick 6 wines before we found one they had. Looks like they stopped ordering wine with the end in mind.

One other thing we always liked about it is it's nice and slow paced, not loud and just relaxing. I have a feeling BLT might not be like that.

I believe that settles the concerns of Sterling Brunch. Never been, but at least they aren't doing away with something so popular.

I've eaten at the blt steak in manhattan and it was excellent. Better than their more famous steakhouses. I imagine this will be a good addition.

grosX2...Thanks for the link to the article. Sure would like to know if the brunch will still include the Perrier Jouet Champagne or if it will be more like the traditional high-end brunches with added cost for the champagne. Also curious as to what the "upgrades" will consist of.
