I am a low roller here and go through a few hundred a day on slots each trip. Mlife. I typically stay at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay because they offer me 1 comp night in their suites plus additional nights at $39 each. I spread my casino play out among several Mlife casinos. I called MGM Grand to see what kind of offer I could get and they said they had no promotions for me other then the casino rate. I told them about what Mandalay Bay was offering me.

Why can't I get any decent from MGM Grand or the others?

Its because you spread your play around.

In fall of 2011 they changed the MLife program where it is now more based on where you play. So if you want offers from MGM Grand, as an example, you have to go and give them a decent amount of play.

And it works out from there: if you do that and now start getting good MGM Grand offers and then next trip you go and put in most of your play at NYNY and only a little play at MGM then your next round of offers are going to favour NYNY and you might not get anything from MGM Grand.

Every MGM property seems to have their own rules lately for what they'll comp and what they won't. Just take the offers where you can get them. Or try a third property and see if they'll match Mandalay. Mirage has been decent at matching for me.

Mine have seemed to have really dropped off, too. My last trip (May), I spread my play around more than I had in the past. Partially due to collecting myvegas rewards.

Overall, I played a lot more than I normally do at MGM props, but probably over 4-5, instead of 1-2.

That's why I always really liked the corporate offers. Because you could have an offer from a property that you don't typically stay or play at. That's how I stayed at the Mirage the first time - was using a corporate offer.

But, unfortunately, I have fallen off the corporate offer list - and no one at M Life can seem to tell me why.

I havent played at MGM really since last summer, and yet they gave me 2 free nights in a suite, with additional starting at 59, well seeing as how I am going in March, the additional nights are not 59 dollars, yet, if ever, and Mirage as given me a free night, but none others..

Not sure what your level of play is,but that is often the reason offers drop. They do not see the value in giving away something unless they think they can recoup it via your play. They will take more chances early on, but as time goes by, they know better what your risk level really is.

This is why I have decided to give CET properties a try. Staying at Caesar's for the first time in October. Hoping to see a real difference in offers.

I'm a platinum player who now gets 3 comped nights in a Tower Suite, $500 in free play, $300 in food, VIP check-in and a limo from the Mirage - oh and sometimes show tickets too. That's my standard offer from them.

I play where I stay and I've never short-played anyone. My last several offers from the Bellagio have been a suite, $1,050 in food comps, $500-$700 in free play, VIP check-in and limo. They keep offering it, I keep taking it. I assume if I wasn't playing to their satisfaction, they wouldn't keep offering it.

So I fail to see what risk is coming from me. It's more likely that idiots at M Life simply can't figure out why I'm not getting them.

    Mirage Offer

Just received the immerse yourself offer from Mirage.
Deluxe room for 3 nights. 250 free play, 400 resort credit and limo.

Reduced rates up to 5 nights for addtional nights. Think I will take them up on this I love the Mirage, gaming is decent I like their buffets and love the location.

Last time they gave us a suite 250 free play, 250 food and limo.

I don't care if I get a suite or not as hardly in the room the resort credit will come in handy.

Have to book by end of Sept and use by January 31 2014.

I think this is a decent offer.

Yeah, i am in the same boat. Had great offers all through the spring\summer and now everything is expiring at the end of august and no new offers have showed up. I talked to mlife and they told me to keep checking online and the corporate offers will be out any day now. It seems most people havent received their fall corporate offer yet.

My issue isn't waiting for them to show up. My issue is that I don't get them anymore. I never got my summer corporate offers at all, and no one at M Life can seem to figure out why - nor can they figure out why I don't get M Life mailings or e-mails anymore.

At this level of play, it may be better to get a host especially if you don't low play.

then what are you bothering with offers anyway? I don't get any decent offers either, but so what? work with a host and come whenever you want for as long as you want.

I'm the same, I don't get corporate offers any longer either. I do get good individual offers from Aria, Bellagio and Mandalay Bay. I'm not really upset about not receiving the corporate offers any longer because I doubt I would stay at the other M-Life properties.

By the way, what's with the offers this year from M-Life being good until say the end of January 31, 2014 but must book by October 31st? It used to be one could book them at anytime until the expiration date and then all of a sudden this year, they have started doing this. Any ideas on what doing it this way all of a sudden is beneficial to them?
