The D also has it at the standard $5 level. I played a 7 hour session at the Plaza a couple of weekends ago. Cocktail service was excellent.
The Golden Nugget used to have Ultimate Texas Hold Em but no longer has it. They have Bonus Texas Hold em though. When I asked about UTH the pit boss said they took it out because no one played it. I've played it at Golden Gate and I think the D
Get with the times!! :evillaugh I'm probably biased though; St. Louis has been exclusively UTH since at least 2009.
Same is true in southern california. One of my local casinos has about 7 or 8 tables of UTH. By far, my favorite game!
I played this for a very while a few months ago and couldn't quite get it worked out. Does anyone know the correct strategy or a link to it and is it as complicated as it seemed to me? Thanks. Corinne.
The best public strategy is listed here: http://discountgambling.net/ultimate-texas-holdem/ Also from what I have read elsewhere, a more simple strategy for the river is this: If you do NOT play the board and 21 or more single cards beat you on the river, fold. If you DO play the board and 18 or more single cards beat you on the river, fold. Knowing preflop strategy down cold makes the game a lot easier too. And remembering that raising the flop on any hand that pairs a hole card is almost always correct.
As always, The Wizard of Odds has a pretty thorough page on UTH... http://wizardofodds.com/games/ultimate-texas-hold-em/
