Can't get into politics here, but we just cancelled our FL trip and decided to go to Vegas instead for my birthday in November. Speak with your wallet! Just realized that will make 6 trips this year. Feb Mar & April, then Oct Nov & Dec. We won't even mention the Feb 2014 trip already booked.
Go thing. I just checked and Florida is full. No more room. Much more fun in Vegas anyway. Plus you will prefer the Vegas heat to the Florida heat any day.
Spent a week there earlier this year. I wish I could get a lot of that time back. I hope what we experienced in Orlando doesn't represent the rest of the state.
Ditto what you said.....we spent a week there last year in October thinking we were still Disney people......nope, we're Vegas people now. Better food, better service and no lines for anything that we like to do in Vegas. Funny how a place that we loved in the 80's and 90's we just don't need to see ever again.
