    there are a million pictures of the mansion online.that is just the courtyard area but you can see pictures everywhere of the inside too. videos on youtube also. i have an uncle that used to stay there sometimes but he stopped gambling before i turned 21 and went to vegas.

    it used to be that certain high level players staying in the Skylofts could get in for breakfast, but now it seems that they let anybody in. last time I was staying there it was a round-robin of gawking newbies every morning. but the truth is we're in the minority in that we enjoy walking down to the dining room and having breakfast in the atrium. most people staying there don't eat in the dining room, they bring in their own chef and eat in their villa. so since the dining room is mostly empty anyway, they might as well bring in people to eat there or the staff would just stand around all day.

    if you want to have breakfast there one morning, just ask your host to set it up. assuming it's not a busy weekend, you should be able to get in. but it's not cheap. $16 mimosas, $40 eggs benedict, etc.

    You know...I hope nobody takes this the wrong way but I kind of hate to see them remove that criteria but I totally undertsand it's all about the revenue.

    Even though I'm not a High Roller and don't have access to the Mansion or a some of Steve Wynns special Villa's, the fact that some Las Vegas hotels have these villas and restaurants that you (in the words of the Mansion website) have to "be qualified for", keeps up that Vegas mystique about the big $$ gaming world.

    I'm not sure what they mean "qualify for" exactly. For fun I called them up and inquired about a one bedroom villa for labor day weekend, 3 nights on a busy long weekend. Was told they would call me back, and they did the next day. I never gave my mlife card #, no host, and for $5k a night it would be mine no problem. I suppose by qualify they actually mean afford lol!

    So.....you booked it right? :poke::evillaugh

    I assumed qualified meant level of play but then again I guess the other golden rule in Vegas is enough $$$$ buys you anything.:faint:
