Just had a silly thought - could there be such a thing as SSIAD?

I'm thinking no, since anyone who's at Seven Stars level would either have a large enough line or enough front money that they'd automatically be SS, right? I guess technically that would be SSIAD though, huh.
(though not really, since there's no discounted TC amount to hit?)

Maybe my question should be, do most SS players start off as maybe diamond and become SS towards the end of the year?

No. Seven Stars is invite only so even if you play and play and play and earn the points for the tier, even then there is no guarantee you will be made Seven Stars.

Somebody's first time being Seven Stars they would likely start off as Diamond and then earn enough points and get the invite and then they are likely Seven Stars until either they cut their play back, lose all their money or stop gambling.

The thing is: at that level people aren't looking to jimmy the system and find a workaround to milk extra comps out of "the system," IE: somebody at that level isn't going to play hard one time just to make Seven Stars so they can use up as much possible comps and benefits for a year with the plan to just go back to Diamond (or lower) the next year.

And the other thing is: the "in a day" programs don't really do much beyond getting you a different color card. If you are a "Gold" player and have always been a "Gold" player and then just one day you show up and pound a bunch of money through some slots or VP to make DIAD and then go back to being a "Gold" player... then you are pretty much going to be getting slightly better offers/comps that you got as a "Gold" player before, but they aren't going to be rolling out the red carpet for you when you show up at one of their casinos because to them you would just be a "Gold" level player with a "Diamond" card.

SSIAD - guessing you mean Seven Stars in a Day.

You do not get level based on front money or line of credit. (okay, maybe if you had a few hundred thousand).

SSIAD if it existed would require some massive amount of play if it even existed.

I would say Seven Stars people play lots, get to Gold, then get to Diamond and eventually get to Seven Stars. They say it is invite, but never heard of folks hitting that level and not being "invited". There is even a Chairman level above that.

With the bonus plan, it would not be hard for a regular casino visitor to ge to SS in short order. Earn 2,500 per visit and get 5,000 bonus can add up fast. On a 4 day trip you can be at 30,000 each trip.

You can get Seven Stars in a Day by earning 100,000 base tier credits. Otherwise, no other such promo exists similar to DIAD.

It is not invite only per se. Rather, once you have reached the minimum threshold, in this case, 150,000 (and with the new bonuses, it isn't all that hard), then they will review your account to see if you are in good standing and "approve" your seven star status. What may inhibit your ability to become seven stars is based on some factors as your not paying off your LOC, whether you have mistreated their employees and/or other players, and some other issues.

I've been 7* for quite a few years now. This year (well, technically next year) was the easiest to earn by far. I completed it in late May after my 20th day gambling this year. There is no 7*IAD, but this year there is 7*I20D with these bonus tier credits. At some point you need to have an elite tier that has real value (7* is worth at least $5k in hard comps) to award your elite players. I suspect bonus tier credits will be gone within the next two years...it was way too easy this year.

Nate said when he went to CET for the first (only) time with 500k FM and 2M CL, he was given a regular gold card when he showed up.

And I'm sure after an hour he could go the TR desk and pick up his Diamond card, since thats probably how long it would take...

sure after he earned it just like anyone else. I was just commenting that they don't just give away a higher card without earning it.

I haven't heard of people being denied getting a 7Star after earning the points but I have heard of people getting kicked out before their year was up. But maybe I am wrong but you can't just earn the points and pick up the card at the desk. They will review your account first.

They won't give you a card after making the points. You have to get an invitation. I believe that they check to insure that you don't have any outstanding issues, whatever they may be.

Additionally, I agree that it's much easier to make 7* now. Last year I barely made it in November. This year I'm already over 150,000 tier points with the bonuses.

    Shifter,

Perhaps they've has changed, we haven't stayed at a CET property in about 6 yrs, but that said on our 1st stay at the Rio, and later at Caesars we always had Diamond cards waiting for us prior to any play (although Im sure 7* is different).
On our first stay before we had ever played we had them (im assuming based on our hosts knowledge of our play prior when he was at the V). On our 2nd stay we also had diamonds cards waiting and it had been 2 yrs between stays.
Keep in mind as well that we are not normally in V more than a couple of times a yr max so we don't usually play to the level of diamond ea yr. We do however play a fair amount when we are there( but not to the couple hundred thousand level as mentioned by another poster)

So perhaps the giving of cards is dependent upon what the host suggests?

I play mostly Video Poker 3/5 Play at $1/$2 various games, JOB, BP, DDB.
I've played, like CaptainJack mentioned, about 20 days this year in Vegas and AC. I was only under 2,500 one day this year. I normally get between 2,000 - 4,000 points in a day but closer to 2,500 on most.

The $750 airfare is a Diamond Aspirations III benefit. Seven Stars get the following:
    $500 dinner
$1200 airfare and 5 nights plus limo (this year you get that twice if you were 7* coming into this year and earn 150,000 tier credits).
Annual Gift (usually a $200 value)
Signature Event (this years options were jazz festival in NOLA, 4th of July in Tahoe, Shania Twain in Vegas, Miss America in AC, or a cruise out of NYC on NCL's newest ship).
Free balcony room on any NCL ship.
One of the best benefits is the automatic upgrade to the best room available. I stay in AC frequently and only once this year have I not been given a $1200/nt suite for my stay.

Some of the minor perks: rent any movie on the TV in your room, never a charge. Use wifi on property, never a charge. The Seven Stars Lounges have full meal waitress service and top-shelf liquor. Bypass any line.

I play $5 denom video poker. It takes roughly one hour to earn 2500 tier credits. So essentially, I played one hour a day for 20 days this year to make Seven Stars.

It is actually up to $1,200 for airfare for two guests. The $750 is for Diamond Aspriations at 80,000 tier points.

You get at least one trip a year, and if you renew your membership, you get at least another trip.

On this formerly known as annual trip, you also get $500 credit for food, beverage, and entertainment, etc.
You get limo transportation, and the trip could be to any Caesars property, including Caesars Windsor in Canada.

You get a few perks here and there. At the top of my head, I recall:

$500 annual celebration dinner at any Caesars owned property, and a few that lease on Caesars property.

You designate a companion to get a companion card.

At some local/regional CET prop, you get perks as free daily buffets (like at Rincon), monthly massage (at least it used to be at Biloxi), quarterly or monthly golf outings (such as in Tunica), valet parking for only Diamond/7 Stars, front of the line pass, etc.

Beneficial exchange rate from TCs to slot play: at 1.25 conversion

At most Caesars properties (particularly Vegas): unlimited media: movies and internet
Although a couple of locations have put a limit of either $45 a day to be applied toward media, or 2 free movies per day, with free internet.

Seven Stars Events that occur about 3 times a year.

    Annual Appreciation Gift

That's all I can recall for now, but I am sure there's more.

In addition to those mentioned above, you get roundtrip limo from Airport if under 50 miles.
I believe you also get limo for level II Diamond.
NYE comped room in Vegas, though I got that when I was Diamond.
In Atlantic City 1 quarterly Spa treatment. Also golf outing, but I don't golf. The past two casino trips 1 in AC and one in Vegas I had a two bedroom Suite each time. I've had many trips where I haven't gotten suites. I like suites but if I'm solo I really don't care as much. They also have special events that you get invited to.

Signature Event (..., or a cruise out of NYC on NCL's newest ship).

Did any of you select this one? I am curious, as I did and it was on a duplicate event they created for the next month, as the first one booked up quickly.

I did not. However, a good friend did. They're on the original August sailing. Looked like the best of the offerings as long as transportation to NYC wasn't too costly.

    1) if i add a companion as a diamond, can i add a diff person when i reach seven star?

    2) is the best time to add a companion in december so it last the longest like for diamond in a day, so two diff person as a companion under me

bonus questions, airfare, right now i get $750 once i reach seven star i get two $1200 airfare, the questions is:

    3) that $3150 total airfare is unlimited roundtrip? or is it only 3 roundtrips (one $750 roundtrip diamond level 3, two $1200 roundtrips seven star)

    4) all of these airfare money will go to other people, my friend will use it, can he bring one guest?
