I've read in the CBJN that the Monte Carlo has $50 double deck in the high limit room but for the past four trips it's always been $100. Has anyone seen it at $50? I've only seen $100 minimums and no players

I'm considering staying at the Luxor. Has anyone seen a $50 (or lower) double deck game there?

The double deck game outside the HL room at Luxor is H17, no RSA no Surrender, $25 min.

The one in the HL room is S17, no RSA no Surrender, $100 min.

In each case they deal half the deck.

It's rare to see $25 DD on the strip. Too bad about them dealing only half the cards though. Thanks for the replies.

I've seen the MC high limit DD game go to $50. Half the time though it's sitting empty and at $100. I think they just forget to change it.

I've seen a $25 DD game at Harrah's the last few trips I was out there. The table is located by the Pai Gow tables across from one of the video poker bars.

I do not recall the exact rules, but I believe it was double on any two cards, stand on S17 and BJ's pay 3:2. In years past I have a good time playing at the table. The drink service is efficient and a restroom is located about 30 feet away inside the high stakes slot area.

True PH has it too but terrible rules and they deal like 40 cards.

I've played it personally; as others have said, tthere's usually no one in there. I think I asked them to decrease the min to 50 one time and the pit boss was fine with it.

A bit off topic, but how is the CBJN in terms of accuracy of the games offered at every casino? Is it worth the few bucks to gain insight? Thanks in advance...

Your mileage may vary on that one...I tried that one time at MC because I wanted to play two $50 spots, and even though it was empty they wouldn't drop it.

I stayed at the Luxor last week and played a $25 double deck game at the Mandalay Bay. The rules weren't that favorable, but at least it was 3:2. I played this same game in December when I was there too.
