I'm going to Vegas in June. One of my friends from AZ is going to come out to go to the same trade show I'm attending and to see me too. I'm already bringing a friend with me from Dallas, so there's no room for her to bunk with us.

My AZ friend was planning to stay with family there because it's Electric Daisy Carnival weekend and rooms are very expensive for fri & sat.

I'm staying at Ballys on a comp, but I had an offer at TI. Wasn't good for fri & sat, but I booked it comped for her on sun & mon.

At check in will they let us use her cc for incidentals and anything that she charges to the room or will they make me use the card I used to hold the reservations?

You'll have to check-in to the room. She can put her card down for the incidentals though and you can add her name to the room. At least, every time I've ever done this, they allowed it.

Long way around ... but room is in your name, but want to use her CC.

Not a problem at all - as long as you are there to sign for checkin.

just did it for my parents for a week,
put her name down so she wont have a problem you can do it ahead of time.

to make things easier have her pay chash or just use her credit card so there are no room charges ,checkout will go alot quicker.

Ok, good to know. I thought they would because I remember doing this for a friend a long time ago at a different property. I assume since I'm adding her to the room and she'll be using her cc, she won't have any trouble checking out. I'm leaving on Monday night and she won't be leaving until Tuesday.

Just remember, since there will be no play there under your name, your future comp offers may suffer a little. If it's just a room special given to anyone who will join their players club, then no sweat. Just make sure she joins.

Though some people feel they have to check out, we almost NEVER CHECKOUT.

We just leave. You can also do the video checkout.

But, if they have your card, you just leave. We have even checking into a room for a promo, never stayed there, and they think we checked out three days later, even though we never returned to the room.

Since she is staying there, I'll probably be spending a fair amount of time at their casino to play some. I was only there about 3 hours in nov. and got this offer from them. I'm not really that worried about my play suffering because I'll get her to use my card when she plays too even though she doesn't play as much as I do. The room offer comes with a little FP too, so that's good!

I did exactly this at TI a couple years back. I gave them some play to cover my friend's room, but that was the last offer I got from them. Guess I didn't give them enough play.

No loss, as I have no intention of staying at TI -- just wanted to share since it was the same hotel.

Thanks for taking the time to tell me about your experience at TI. I have no intention of staying there either, but you never know when you might need a back up plan so I hope I'm able to play enough to stay on their radar.

It's probably changed with them since when I did it. My offer with TI was leftover from when they were an MGM property, so they were sending out mailers to everybody.
