    Hi Everyone:
Back in May we decided to get Grazie cards and check out the Venetian. We played approximately $300 dollars there in an afternoon. I just received my first comp offer from them.

    Your Carnevale package includes:

Three complimentary nights in a Luxury Suite at The Venetian or at
The Palazzo, Sunday through Thursday, based upon availability*
$25 in Slot Credits or Table Match Play†

What are your thoughts on this? If I book this with them are will I have a room when I get there? I know there were some issues in the past with them and I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this before I make any plans.

I can't answer your question, but $300 and you got 3 free nights there?!

I would assume if you book something it would be guaranteed? Unless they had some kind of mistakes or miscommunications before.

I couldn't believe it either. I was really surprised. We tend to be good players so no issues there we definitely will be doing some gambling. Guess they are looking for new customers. We usually stay at the Mirage. This offer is very enticing though and we may have to try it.

If you book the offer you will have rooms. They have gotten more gambler friendly in the last year or so. We started getting monthly offers again.

You will have a room. No problem.

They stiffed a few people a couple of years ago, and I think they learned their lesson.

    Sounds like a teaser offer.

Exactly. I have built a relationship with them in the past year and a half and I am very happy with the way they treat me.

Take it, you will have a confirmed booking. The rooms are very nice. I would stay there more if I liked the casino.

If they book you, you will have a room.

The only issue you might run into is if the rack rates are extremely high for a particular night you are trying to book. That ordinarily shouldn't happen Sunday - Thursday, but it might.

What I found in trying to book a stay last summer was that I could only book comped nights where the rack rate under the best public offer available at the time was $199 or less.

    • Go to the Palazzo and/or Venetian websites
    • In the menu strip that appears near the top of the page, hover over "Offers", and click on Carnevale Offer
    • Look in the rate calendar on the right for the dates you want.
    • If all of them are $199 or less, you should have no problem. Any date that is sold out or more than $199, you may not be able to get comped.

Yep. I'm the same way. I absolutely love staying there. Especially in the Palazzo, although both of their hotels are very similar and just as nice. I just like the lobby of the Palazzo better.

I hate gambling in their casino, except playing poker. I even used to like the old Venetian sports book before it was bought up by Cantor and I can't stand it now.
