I have heard a lot of people grumbling about the Bellagio on here. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. My experiences at Bellagio have been superb, and I think in large part because of my excellent host there.

If anyone is in need of a host at Bellagio or wants to give it a try but doesn't know a host to contact, please PM me. I have no relation to my host, and will not gain anything but figure one way I can pay him back is to refer others.

We used to have a great host at Bellaggio and always stayed there. He was a nice old italian guy, we called a few years ago and he was gone and they gave us a woman who was pretty rough and gave us a hard time. We ended up going to Mandalay and havent been back since. The 4 of us always get a full RFB because one of us is a complete degenerate and that include Le Cirque, Prime etc. I dont know why she was being a hard ass.

The customer service can be really hit or miss at Bellagio. My gambling buddy and I usually joke that if we don't get at least one nasty dealer while we are playing there we didn't get the "full Bellagio experience."

That being said, I like the property- it is very nice. The prime location, the restaurants, and the poker room as well as my host keep me coming back.

If you are there, look him up and tell him thank you and show him how much you appreciate his efforts on your behalf, one hand washes the other.

Last time I stayed with him I slapped him an envelope with a $50.00 giftcard and a $20 wrapped around it for just a free room for 3 nights, nothing extra that trip. You'd think he would have sought me out again

My Host at the Bellagio has treated me royally for the past nine years, in that time I have not paid for a meal or a room ever. The last four trips have been nothing less than a Bellagio Suite each time. I do take very special care of her for that reason, I usually seek her out personally and present her with something a bit more than your gift. I appreciate her attention to detail and don't mind showing my appreciation.

You're right. In fact given your play you probably had an offer for at least that much sitting in the system so he probably didn't have to actually do anything for you that you didn't already have. He made out better than you did!

I used to have a great host at the B who left for another industry a few years back. I never had to give him a single tip or gift to be treated well -- he wasn't that kinda guy. I don't know the new host well but she's a woman who doesn't do much -- but in fairness I also hadn't played there much for a few years mostly sticking to Wynn.

My experiences at the Bellagio has been great. My host treats me well and I enjoy playing there. The hotel has great facilities, places to eat, and beautiful people everywhere. =D The only thing thing that they don't have is double deck blackjack where they pitch the cards to you facedown. I enjoy that game a lot but they have it face up only.

I don't play much BJ anymore, but when I used to play I would see hand dealt doubledeck games at most major casinos

I was at the Bellagio, last October and didnt see any. I'm headed back out there on Thursday, and hope to find one, on the strip. If not, I;ll stick to craps at the Bellagio. Thanks!

I played double deck pitch at MGM a couple months ago. Both Bellagio and Aria only had it face up. I prefer pitch games as well.

Does pitch mean they deal the cards to the player face down?

Yes. They hold the decks in one hand and pitch the cards down in front of you face down. You pick up the cards and add them up yourself, the dealer doesn't see them. You only turn them over if you bust, have a blackjack, or want to split or double. Much more fun in my opinion.

Golden Nugget definitely has it. I think Mirage does as well.
