Anyone have any? Besides the collect 100+ other random friends on facebook that play the game.

I have a couple but wanted to hear yours. Like specific games, how you play them, anything besides the add a bunch of friends tricks.

I only play Birds, Jules Verne, and Around the World. I optimize my loyalty point collection by only playing at either 200 or 1000 chips, dependant on how many total chips I have.

Not sure if I'd put it down as "strategy", but these are things I'm doing.

Join friends of myvegas, and keep an eye on the big chip share thread. Some people post all the email coupon codes there, and they don't seem to expire as fast, and are huge.

Play Bet the farm (no idea if this is better, but I had some monster runs on it so why learn something new). Either way, focus on one game, because there are buildup bonuses, so you waste investment when switching.

When you have hotels to build, bet low until they are built, using autospin as much as possible to get them built fast. When you are "waiting for permit" for the next hotel, crank the bet up much higher. The games run pretty streaky, so often you can autospin through a few levels and get a bunch of LPs once you get going.

I'm currently on the big bets (850, sometimes higher, on autospin), trying to get to level 48 so I can start on Aria.

I only have 11 friends and I am getting by just fine. Considering the issues regarding people getting locked out and not being able to identify their new friends to get back in, I am glad I am slow to add. I make sure I log in and send and receive gifts everyday as well as try to collect from my strip a few times a day. I like Excalibur, Lucky Birds and Studio City. I find that if I am playing one and losing, I can switch to another and break even. I don't play big, either. I just keep to a lower number and grind things out, especially when I am building a casino. It will take me longer to earn LPs but I am not headed back Vegas anytime soon.

Only tip I have is to try to time the building of the later casinos at optimal times. When they can collect 4 times a day for big amounts its worth building them at convenient times. Remember that they dont allow you to collect 6 hours from the last time you collected, but will always be available at certain increments in the day. IE I have Aria collecting at 6-12-6-12 that way i can easily collect 4 times a day without checking at work.

I collect the midnight one at 5:45 when i get up. The 6am one at 6:30 before i leave for work. The noon one at 5:00 ish when i get home, and then the 6pm one anytime before bed. I screwed up with luxor and its collecting at 9-3-9-3 so i only get the 3am, 3pm, and 9pm one, cuz i cant log in at work to get the 9am one.

I do a sort of Martingale strategy on the blackjack, I bet 100k, and if I win I leave and use that for my play on excaliber slot. I went on a huge run on BJ a Few months back and won about $15M in chips, and Ive just been coasting on that.

But using myvegas on FB and the chip share is the best way Ive found to accumulate chips

    Cheers

Lots of bad information in here.

You want to keep your bets at 100-200 total and play the Jules Verne/Lucky birds games. Those two games require the least amount of chips per played per 10 credits earned, but only if you play 100-200 total. (5-10 bets per line) Leveling up is nice, but after certain levels, the amount of bets needed per 10 credits go way up. The level I have read is 58, but I also found that when I reached 30, the amount I had to play at the NYNY game went up significantly.

If you join the group referenced above, they have a chart in one of the posts that shows how much you need to bet on each game in order to gain the 10 reward credits. Use that to your advantage when playing. Also make sure you log in about the same time each day in order to get your daily bonus awards. If you do it the same way daily, you won't miss out on any of the bonuses, which can be significant. (I got 30,000 chips for a daily bonus yesterday just from the wheel spin)

The one thing I did do is lower my bets way down when I got to casino building. The little icons make it harder to win $$ because they take the place of a possible pay line. I've also noticed that just like real life, wins and losses can be streaky. When I find the game not returning chips, I walk away just like I would in the casino.

Thank you. This is what I currently do. I am at level 25 with almost 10K loyalty points.

I do not have a ton of friends (about 8) but I will look out for the post of big chip share threadandthe email coupon codes that someone mentioned above.

Maybe I'd consider this when I can auto-play more than 50. But for now the amount of my time I'd have to spend betting 100-200 per line outweighs any extra efficiency in collecting LPs at that rate.

We'll see how bad the dropoff is at level 58, but the odds are by then I'll have gotten sick of the game and either scaled it back or stopped playing entirely.

Anyway, a question about the idea of 100-200 at those games netting the most LPs? Has anyone analyzed the hold on those games at those levels? Seems to me, just like how blackjack pays back terrible LPs (and half coin in), they would give the most LPs for the games and bet levels with the worst return.

So playing 200 coins per bet on Jules Verne, I get 10lps in 11 bets. Playing bet the farm at 850 per spin, you need 12 spins to get 10lp. So tell me again how you are being more efficient? The more you bet, the more chips it takes to get 10lp.

You need 10,200 chips to gain 10lp at your 850 bet. I need 2200 chips played to gain 10lp at my 200 bet. :Þ

you're always going to get different opinions on this, but I'll throw mine in.

when I started playing this game at the end of October, I bought $40, or 60,000 chips to start with.
once I unlocked the game, I played, and still play, Bet the Farm, and only Bet the Farm.
granted, I've put a significant amount of time into the game, but in playing ONLY that game, I turned that 60,000 chips into approx 1.7 million chips, and along the way, I've earned enough LPs to 'purchase':

    2 nts Mirage Suite
    1 nt Mirage Suite
    Carrot Top tix
    $75 NYNY F&B
    $50 Monte Carlo F&B
    Bellagio Lunch Buffet
    2 Rhumbar Drinks

I did join the Facebook group that was mentioned, but I rarely, if ever, collected the bonuses. I can redeem one more reward for my trip in March, so now every once in a while I'll run a few games with high (34K) bets to see how many more LPs I can get before I go.

People have come up with all kinds of different methodologies to maximize spins, and thats fine, but for me, I just grinded my way through the game and built a decent bankroll. I bet low when I didn't have many coins, and as my bankroll grew through Bet The Farm, I raised my bets, simple as that.

First, I will say that I didn't know that the variation was that striking between the games. I am trying out jewels verne to see what I think of it.

Second, I didn't say I was being more efficient. I said that having to spend less time playing could outweigh the difference in efficiency. And after a couple days with Jewels verne I still notice that. Hitting a bonus stops your auto-spin, and you need to actually participate in the bonus and concentrate on the game, which is great if your playing for fun, but like work otherwise.

Third, it is a question of goals. If you are assuming rewards will be there forever and want to max your long term LP, those "ideal bet" levels may well be the right choice, as you get the most in LP per level as you climb the ladder. But if you're trying to hit an LP target for an upcoming trip, and interact with the game as little as possible, you actually get a huge chunk of your LPs from levelling up, which you can do faster with more coin in.

Fourth, I ask again if anyone has figured out the hold rates on the various games. Jewels Verne seems to play through my chips at 200 a bet pretty fast (I get in not many more spins on similar daily chips as I was getting betting 850-3400 progressively on bet the farm). I could be wrong on that, small sample size and all. But my point being that comparing the coin-in cost for each bonus only applies if you can achieve the same coin in with either game. The constraint is your daily chips, so if BTF has less hold, getting more coin in isn't that tough. After that, limiting coin in only matters if you are trying to prevent levelling, which goes back to item #3 ... motivation.

Putting 3 and 4 together, assume 1K bonus and 300k coin in between levels. You accumulate an extra 10LP every 3.53 spins at bet the farm on the bigger bet, and every 15 spins at Jewels Verne. Overall, that would mean that each spin would earn you 1.58 LP at Jewels Verne, while each spin would get you 3.67 LP at Bet the Farm. Then the only question becomes, once you factor in the time you are willing to spend and your daily chips, how many spins of each could you get per day?

I actually like Around the World best (probably the only one). I used to play Lucky birds, but Around the World is easier for AutoPlay because there are not as many random breaks in the action. You can kind of see the progression until the next break/bonus. Just think it runs much more smoothly that the birds, and they have the same bet amounts.

I agree with this 100% - I just had about four new "friends" added and deleted my request - I do not want to be flagged by facebook for having an abundance of friend requests all of a sudden. I will add a few more in a few day until I have about 10 or 11 and that is all I need as well. Just enough to make it fun to play the game but not send up any red flags and be locked out.

Just as I'm about to hit a bonus round, I will press my bet to whatever max I can afford so that my free spins will maximize value without draining my bankroll. Much bigger hits that way.

I play 200 or 1000 per spin on lucky birds or Jules Verne. The amount depends on the number of chips I have.

I am currently at level 135 and have almost 300k lps for my next trip. I used 75k lps during my Oct/Nov trip. My partner is currently at level 104 with 210k lps. He didn't start playing until after our last trip.

I was doing this too until I saw a post in the MyVegas help/support forum explaining that the size of the free spins are based on the average of all your bets since the last bonus round. So those last dozen or so spins you're doing at 3000 are helping but not as much as if you had bet 3000 the whole time.

Sounds cool, but doesn't work in most of the games. I know certainly in Excalibur and Bet the Farm, for the build-up bonuses it factors in the level you have been betting at all along, not just your last bet.

Not sure about Jules Verne, but I'd guess its the same.

Exceptions are random bonuses like the spin in bet the farm, but then you never know when those are coming.
