What is your daily average bankroll to gamble with when in Las Vegas?

it depends on the game I am playing,

for example if I am playing craps I might limit myself to $500, but if I am playing blackjack I cant really have fun less I walk up to the table with at least 3-5k

I played craps with my mom a few days ago and she only bought in for $100 ($5 table) and when she lost it she was done, no interest in rebuying.

Instead of playing through my bankroll I like to play a set amount of time and I prefer to have enough $$ to keep going untill that time comes then I leave and it doesn't matter if I am up or down

    Depends.

    Playing 1-2 NLHE probably 3 buy-ins so 500-600$
Playing blackjack and craps probably 200$

i try to limit myself at 500 a day but I usually give myself at least 1 or 2 days at $1000.

For some reason if I do good at the slots, I dump it all back at the tables or if i do good at the tables I put it in the slots or the strip club before i retire to my room for the night.

I dont feel as bad when I dump it at the tables as I do when I dump it all at the slots.

Also dumping it at the strip club might have a different meaning if you know what I mean

We usually limit ourselves to $500 per day between the 2 of us, but we tend to stay 8 to 10 days..

Since I switched to horse racing $200 per day is more than enough.
When I played tables $500 per day was my limit.

Dang are we low rollers!! Our budget is around $250 per person per day, so $500 per day total.

Total degenerate here... Whatever is in my wallet is my ongoing daily bankroll.
Much larger at the start of the trip coincidentally enough.

These numbers will easily run from $20 to $20,000 and more. All depends.

Call me the ultimate low roller then...I am shooting for $300 on a 4-day trip. And my g/f is more like $200 over 4 days. I tend to be very nitty with my money on -EV games. Live poker is an exception - that can be a few hundred per session of play for me, and I will play at least one session per trip.

...between $1700 and $2000 for my typical 3-night stay... I don't have any hard-and-fast rule as to daily amount, but I will not go over my trip-budget, and I always make sure that I can start each day with at least $500.

If I don't win on my arrival day, I limit myself to $700 for that day.

On departure day, I make sure I have at least $100 when heading to the airport... everything else is sort of play it as it goes.

I do it a bit different. I usually have a trip budget and then play limits which give me a pretty high level of confidence of staying within that budget regardless of the daily spend. Usually $2,000 for a four night trip playing $5 and $10 tables. I haven't kept close track but it seems I don't recall ever coming anywhere close to burning through that.

My table buy ins are usually $100 for BJ and $200-$300 for Craps.

Due to gambling at my local casino, I've used quite a bit of my Vegas funds. I wanted to have $1k per day for 8 days for my birthday trip in 3 weeks but now I'm down to $300 per day unless I get lucky. :peace:

You're not really different. This is how most table players think of bankrolls I think. Reading these boards machine players usually think in terms of daily bankrolls and table players think in terms of trip bankrolls.

When I visit Vegas I go for eight days. I bring $500 per day to gamble with plus $100 a day for meals, cabs, shows etc. if I win early in my trip I stick to the $500 a day but I will most definitely get a better room, see top line shows and eat like a king. The key to me is to limit my losses and create memories if I win.

I must be the bottom of the pit...$100/day for the 2 of us our limit. That includes eating and bus fare and all that but we don't eat at fancy places and don't do a lot of shopping. I do budget 100/day for travel days which we don't spend at all hardly so if we have some extra that could be included in our budget too.
