Got a question about free play, going to LV in a couple weeks and first time with free play, so need to understand.
If I have $100 in free play and am playing a machine and have gotten about $40 in wins but want to change machine and have $$$$ left on free play....when I cash out how done it work? Do I get a TITO for the $40 and the free play remains on the card or what?
    Any info appreciated.
    Thank you

Might depend on the casino and how their program works.

I think with CET properties you have to keep playing on the same machine until the free play is gone... but then they usually give you the free play in smaller certificates so you don't need to put it all in one machine at once (IE: $50 in free play might be in five $10 vouchers where you can use one at a time if you want)

With MLife the free play stays on your card. You insert your card and activate the free play, then play. If you want to move machines before the free play is used up then you just take your card out and go to a new machine - you will have to log back in again to your card to re-activate the free play though.

was more interested in Cosmo FP....I don't. mind the CET certif....staying at Paris anyway, so will spend a fair amount of play time there. Was going to try the COsmo deal and was wondering if I had to stay on one machine.

At Cosmo: no, its on your card. You can switch machines and take the free play with you.

I have a freeplay question as well:

I have 200 in freeplay at MGM showing on my mLife account. I'm gonna be staying at Aria. My understanding is I need to first activate the freeplay at the players club desk. But I'm probably not going to get to MGM until late at night when the desk will be closed. So can I activate my MGM freeplay at the players club at Aria? So I can just use it at MGM later at night?

    Thanks

You will have to go to MGM to activate the free play, and you can only use it at MGM.

You do have to go to the MLife Players Club booth to have the free play activated (they need to check your ID and make sure its you that is using the free play).

The MGM Mlife booth should be open until 1AM, possibly later on Friday and Saturdays.

Oh wow thanks Auggie, I never imagined they'd be open that late! I thought it closed at 9pm for some reason.

The MLife desk should be open 24 hours on the weekend. At least, the one here at the MGM Grand Detroit is.

I just learned something new today. All this time i thought when you had a freeplay offer in mlife it was only if you were booked at the hotel. Not that I get the bonus freeplay offers all the time but I have seen it a couple times.
Thanks KickinChicken for that question and Auggie for the response.

Glad I read this too. I thought you had to be a guest for free play. I have $250 at the Mirage but $150 at every other Mlife property. I'm normally not a casino hopper but this may change my mind.

If you have freeplay showing up on your Mlife account for a particular casino you can use it there without being a guest from what I recall. If it comes as part of room offer -- for example "3 free nights and $100 freeplay" -- then I believe its only good if you book the offer and stay there.

I did not know the Mlife booths were open late into the night either. That's good to know because I would have assumed they weren't since they close in the evening at my local CET casinos.
