    Hi Everyone:

I was wondering, can I use both my players cards for the same casino at the same time in Vegas?

If I play two machines side by side? Is this possible or will it kick out one of them?

Yes, on machines (slots and VP) you can use both cards for the same account.

Also, if there are two or more of you, IE: a husband and wife or a couple of guys off to Las Vegas, you don't have to be side by side or even in the same casino for it to track points. So if I have my MLife card and I am playing at Aria and my wife is using a card from my account and playing at Monte Carlo then both cards will track play and accumulate points.

    The only restrictions are:
    - at Total Rewards casinos you can't have two cards for the same account in the Rapid Roulette machines at the same time. The first card will work but the system won't read the second card.
    - at table games you can't use cards for the same account for games with offsetting wagers (roulette and craps)

    SOME NOTES:
    1) When a card is active it accumulates points separate from the other card(s) on the same account. So what this means is: if you put Card "A" in a slot machine and it says you have 100 points and you put Card "B" in a machine next to it then it will also say you have 100 points.
If you earn 25 points on each card and then pull out Card "A" then the display will say you have 125 points... its not until you pull out Card "B" that it will update and say you have 150 points.

    2) With MLife cards if you activate FREEPlay or POINTPlay the free play will go to whichever card has been in the longest. So if a wife puts in Card "A" in a slot machine and is playing and then the husband, somewhere else in the casino, puts in Card "B" and activates $100 in FREEPlay all the while the wife is still at the same machine and hasn't touched her card, the free play will show up on the wife's card and start working immediately.

    Yes,you can do this.

I do it often as I get bored with one machine.

And, have a sick sense of throwing my money away faster.

Damn I wish I would of known that! I thought you could only do that if husband/wife had shared accounts. Would of been nice last trip to get an extra card and give it to my brother who gambles a little bit but never signs up for player cards.

Technically, you can not share your cards with others. But, there is nothing to stop you. Folks do it all the time.

I am going to take advantage of this and use it. My hubby never gets much for offers so we might as well use my cards.:wink2:

    Thanks for the info.

Ya just don't accidentally use each others cards at a table game - one of the dealers at MGM all but accused my husband of cheating because he had my card & I had his. Not sure what advantage that would have given us.

    Hmmm

My wife and I both have MLife cards, and the Freeplay seems to be independent for us. At the end of our last trip, I had $50 in free play, and she had $15. The express comps were shared, and I believe the tier values are shared.

My wife and I use my card throughout all CET properties both in Vegas and AC. We also ask (politely) when we sit at a table to rate the monies we bet as one player and for the most part never had trouble. It allows us to easily qualify for platinum where we never did before.

In this case you have a joint account where each of you has your own card and card number, but your accounts are linked so that you can both use express comps and advance in tiers.

In the posts above the OP was asking about having only one account, but getting two cards for that one account.

We each have cards, I meant we both use my account, both on slots and tables.

At the Wynn properties they have your picture when they swipe your card at the tables. It's the picture from your drivers license. I saw it on the screen when the floorman scanned my card. He said it made it easier for them to track you if you moved to another seat or table.

Hmm this makes sense. I wonder, would it make more sense if we both played on one card in terms of upfront/primary comps? I always assumed that whatever play we put on either contributed, but perhaps not.
