Do you have any? Mine would be "FREEMONT" instead of the correct "FREMONT". Also, people saying they went to see "Circus Day Solay". And when you ask which one, they say "I already told you! Circus Day Solay". Alrighty then, LOL.

Pet peeve: people talking about going to Las Vegas and saying "we don't gamble." in a way that makes gambling sound bad. well someone is gambling in Las Vegas or you wouldn't have all those fabulous shows and restaurants.

Kind of like Sabrinas- but people that go to Vegas that don't leave the city. It is a very beautiful area outside of town, with Valley of Fire, Red Rock, Hoover Dam amongst a ton of other things to see and do. Best part- alot of it is either free or very cheap.

When people type "loose" instead of "lose" because I read it as "loose" in my head and it sounds weird haha

OK... here's a couple for me... the constant concern over tunnel/no tunnel, UGHHHH... drives me nuts! Get to your destination as fast as possible and start enjoyin' yourself! People who insist on renting cars from the cheapest vendor and then complaining about the looooong lines and quality of the vehicle. "You get what you pay for" (in most instances) and... people who look down their noses at the younger folks that prefer to spend their $$$ on a cabana at the pool or bottle service at the clubs, instead of saddling up to the craps table with a bunch of cigar smokers. I say to each his or her own... there's a million ways to enjoy Vegas and it doesn't HAVE to be ALL gambling related. Ohhhh yeah... lastly... people who yearn for "old Vegas" when the "the boys" ran the town... gimme a break... the good old days weren't always good!

Wheeeww... got that off my chest! Thanks!!! Now I need to try to keep my posts positive!!!

Mine would be players that are rude to dealers. If they cards, dice, whatever are not going your way, don't blame it on the dealers.

    * With all the food options available, why would you go to Denny's? Yet my wife and I know people who go there every morning for breakfast when they're in town.
    * People who won't visit downtown because "it's not safe" but think nothing of walking the strip.
    * People who put their money in a video slot, look at the screen blankly, ask you how to play, do two or three spins, complain loudly to their friends that the game is "stupid."

    I have many pet peeves.

    1. People who complain about how other people play blackjack. Because the people complaining have no concept that what someone else does doesn't affect you -- so essentially, by complaining, you're showing that you don't understand the game yourself.

    2. People who treat dealers poorly.

    3. Dealers who complain about tips.

    4. Video Poker bars that don't comp all drinks.

    5. People who question other people's choices on how they choose to spend their money.

    6. Smokers who sit down next to me while I'm already playing.

    7. People who sit down next to smokers who are playing and then complain about the smoke.

I love Vegas, nothing upsets me out there because I leave all my cares behind.

Mine is downtown at the moment:

I swear a few years ago I could walk from one end to the other in about 10 minutes or less with little to no intrusions.

Today: zipline/slotzilla, 1.2 million kiosks, 1.4 million street "performers", bars being built on Fremont at every casino, large stages.

I swear it takes 20 minutes or more to get from start to finish now. And that delay does not make me want to walk into a casino and spend money. It makes me miss downtown from a couple years back.

I agree with this, but it violates my rule about not complaining about what other people do with their money.

Yep, navigating around downtown has definitely become irritating. On our last trip, it seemed like I was always stuck trying to get around a zipline tower blockaded on either side by gaggles of meanderers. Didn't used to bother me, thought it was novel but, I'm kind of over it now. Takes up way too much pedestrian space.

    Totally agree!!
I smoke cigars occasionally. If I'm playing (either slots, or table) by myself, I'll freely light one up and not think twice.
If I'm joining a table (or sitting down next to a slot player whose already there), and I feel like having a cigar, I'll ask those around if they mind!

Drives me crazy when people sit next to ME and then bitch I'm smoking a cigar though!!!!

    Agreed.

I find it odd people would go to Las Vegas to enjoy themselves and then sweat the small stuff. Life is too short.

My pet peeves are people with strollers, and people who stop in the middle of walkways, or old people/slow walkers who take up the whole walk way, weaving from one side to the other so that you cannot get past them. Reminds me of the cartoon with the 2 little old ladies in a car looking out the windshield and saying how nice it is that there is not any traffic. Then it shows traffic backed up for miles behind them.
