Hi, I'm fairly new to Total Rewards, I just signed up a few trips ago.. I'm curious how the "rewards credits" work. I feel a little dumb, but I can't find any clear answers online.

What can I redeem them for? How do I redeem them? and what are they "worth" persay..

Like, could I use them to book rooms?

Or if someone could point me to a spot on their website that has more info that would be great.

Each rewards credit is worth one penny... 100 = one dollar.

Most places at CET properties will swipe your card and take off credits to the nearest dollar if you don't have enough to pay for the transaction or to the penny if you do.

Generally, I just go to the cashier and say, "I want to pay with points." They swipe the card, look at your ID and deduct the value of the buffet, meal or other purchase. If you're at a restaurant, make sure to tip on the value of the meal, not the discounted price.

Alternatively, you can charge to your room, then pay with points when you check out.

Ok cool. LOL I have a whole dollar right now .

I was looking at the Visa card so I was curious...(I need to get a new credit card, figured since I travel so much to Vegas it may be a good one.) But the bonus is 2,500 credits. That's not very exciting!

Yea, lots of now you see it, now you don't.

But, do not confuse TIER credits. That is what is used to measure your tier level. They can not be spent.

Right, I know that. Tier is what you rack up when you gamble to get better offers and such.

you will also earn credits for spending on the Visa and using the card prevent points from expiring like a casino visit
