Posted on SI.com today (from KC Star) that the Chiefs have not actually held a lead at any point this season (their one win was in OT so taking the lead ended the game).

So lets have a pool to guess the date and time of the Chiefs first lead of the season.

    I pick never.

    Here are their remaining games.

    Mon, 11/12 @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Sun, 11/18 at 12:00 PM Cincinnati Bengals

Sun, 11/25 at 12:00 PM Denver Broncos

Sun, 12/02 at 12:00 PM Carolina Panthers

Sun, 12/09 at 12:00 PM @ Cleveland Browns

Sun, 12/16 at 3:25 PM @ Oakland Raiders

Sun, 12/23 at 12:00 PM Indianapolis Colts

Sun, 12/30 at 3:25 PM @ Denver Broncos

Never would be an impressive feat. You've got to believe they'll lead 3-0 at some point.

I'll take the Cincy game. let's say with 11:40 remaining in the first quarter..and I would not be surprised if they did it @ Pitt either..(Both assuming they win the coin toss like Mike said and grab an early FG.)

Yeah but it would be boring for the person posting it to pick the easiest game or the next game hoping for a first drive field goal.

    I'll play along.

    11/25/12 1:11 pm EST

Demaryius Thomas misses Peyton's audible and zigs when he should have zagged. Three plays and -4 yards later Succop hits a 37 yard FG to take the lead 3-0.

Denver then scores 31 straight and wins 34-10. And the Chefs go to 1-10.

Okay. I'll take first quarter against the Panthers. 9:50 remaining. Panthers get stuffed in their own end and the chiefs get decent field position off the punt. Charles breaks one.

I'll take the Cleveland game, 8:17 to go in the third quarter. Neither defense shows up for the game, but KC goes on a tear out of the locker room to take a 31-28 lead.

i predict that after trading three and outs, the chiefs not only cut through the steelers like butter for a touchdown, they follow it up with recovering a fumble deep in pittsburgh territory, and go up 10!

Right now my wife is not happy. She has Steelers has her confidence pick. I found much less thinking involved if you lose in week one.
