I have played $5 blackjack there on a weekend night recently. Do they normally have $5 craps and roulette and Fri/Sat nights too? Or do they bump it to $10 to get in line with everyone else on The Strip? I am going back in a couple months and wondering if I should go in search of a $5 table or just suck it up and deal with the $10 tables.

It's $5 pretty much all the time. Maybe on a really busy weekend it presses up. And if you can't find it there, you can walk next door to Hooters or across the street to Excalibur, both of whom run $5 tables (or even $3 tables, at Hooters) pretty steadily.

I was there two weeks ago and on Friday nights all the craps tables were $10.00. The place was pretty packed so that may have had an influence on it.

    Thanks for the info.

I am probably going downtown on Saturday afternoon that weekend anyway, so I will make sure to get my craps fix in while I am down there.

Thanks. I liked the vibe at The Trop about 100x better than Excalibur, so I was hoping to avoid Excalibur at all costs. Never been to Hooters, heard awful things though.

Hooters is not good -- especially the hotel part. But a BJ table is a BJ table, for the most part, and Hooters has good drink service, if nothing else.

I only played craps there once. I took out $500 to buy in and they looked at me the way I'd look at someone buying in for $50,000, which was amusing. It was a decent game...about the same as you'd expect at the Trop...but with a lot of really low rollers. Again, drink service was awesome -- I think just because the casino is so small.

I've been to the Trop quite a few times. $10 is typically the lowest table I see.
