I usually smoke a few cigars while in Vegas. Just wanting to hear from other cigar smokers where you guys/gals enjoy your heaters. I love smoking in any sportsbook while watching college football and NFL. Caesars is currently my favorite while enjoying my hour long cigar with a few buddy's. Another good spot is at any quiet bar that has VP. One of my favorite was at PH at their heart bar in the early evening before all the loud music started.

    Anybody else?

I don't smoke, but Andre's at Monte Carlo is one. But upon reading your post again, it seems that you want VP included.

Not a big fan of cigars, but I've got to say, you're in Vegas. You have a right to do it wherever you have a right to do it, and if you sat next to me at the table, I wouldn't say one word about it.

I'm a cigarette smoker. And though I dislike cigar odors, I can empathize with any time you get hassled for it. Whenever someone starts in on me, I remind them that there are nonsmoking tables at most casinos and maybe they should limit their play to them.

I don't mind cigar or pipe smoke so much, but cigarette smoke is something else. You are right of course - if smoking is allowed, it's allowed - it's still not pleasant when someone sits down next to you and lights up, but that's my problem.

Are CET sportsbooks still ok with cigar smoking? Since MGM properties have prohibited cigars in the books, I usually just place my bets and watch the games at the bar nearby.
If CET is still allowing cigars, I may have to change books!

I will answer your question rather than offer my opinion on cigar toking. :confused2:

I enjoy a good smoke in the morning. I grab a coffee and go sit out back in the gardens of Flamingo and just smoke away. There is usually next to no one around, I am an early riser and LV is dead in the morning!!!

    Enjoy!!

And I smoked away in Ballys book in April. Didnt have a prob smoking in NYNY last Sept. either.

I enjoyed a cigar while watching the fountains at Bellagio once a couple years ago. Haven't since.

Don't get me wrong. NEVER would I light up a cigar at a table. I don't smoke cigs but if I did, I still would NEVER light up during play at tables. I would however light up at a slot machine when nobody was around me, and if somebody was to sit next to me as I was already smoking, well then that's on them.

Anyhow, I love the smell of cigar smoke when I am not smoking it. One, it reminds me of my grandfather who always smoked cigars. It also reminds me of early morning golf.

The patio at Palazzo sportsbook is a good spot. Other than that, usually by the pool. I don't usually smoke inside.

Casa Fuente in the Forum Shops is supposed to be nice, but I haven't been.

I plan to visit Casa Fuente on my next trip. It sounds like a great place to relax for a couple of hours. Even my girl wants to try a cigar.

Andre's at the Monte Carlo has a cigar lounge. I'm not a smoker, but I set a couple of friends up in there a couple trips ago and they really liked it.

The Mirage has an outdoor bar that they specifically advertise as a spot to enjoy a good cigar. A less crowded spot and a favorite of mine is at night when the Mirage pool is closed you can still walk outside and there is a small area with some built in seating in a semi-circle looking out over the pool. It's a very quiet and serence spot to enjoy the great view (they have accent lighting all over the pool and the various palm trees) and a cigar.

I also enjoy a nice stogie. Three or so trips ago, every time I'd sit down at a bar to play VP, I'd ask the bartender if it was ok to fire up my stoge. WIthout fail, they looked at me like I was nuts, and all said of course.

In my town, smoking is banned in all restaurants and bars. It's kind of nice not to worry about it.

My favorite spot? At a bar playing VP with a comped drink and watching the game....what else do you need? (Ok, but that would not be cool).

Don't know if you want to venture downtown but I believe the Chicago Brew Pub in the Four Queens is a cigar bar complete with video poker.

Another vote for Casa Fuente at Caesars. I go there every midmorning in Vegas and enjoy a coffee or scotch and cigar. Perfect relaxing way to start the day.

When it's nice out the outside lounge right at the entrance of the Mirage is also another favorite spot. The bar there has a small but decent humidor.

There's a place on Fremont between El Cortez and the canopy that sells unbanded sticks that they roll there and are quite tasty.
