I'm wondering if it's worth a free round (meaning my only expense would be rental clubs). I'm a bogey/value golfer, so if it's a real fancy schmancy or difficult course I am not worthy, or if it really sucks I'd rather not waste my time. Also, is mid-September reasonable weather? I could tolerate 90's, 100's not so much.

Hell if it is a free round, I say go for it. Figure maybe $50 for the clubs, sounds like a great deal for that nice of a course.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get a round scheduled on this course since it is a private country club?

The round of golf came with an LVH offer. Actually, it's for me and a guest, and I'm traveling solo. Who's up for a free round of golf Sept 16,17, or 18th? :)
I probably will go for it, but even the rental clubs will be more than I spend for a round with a cart and a few beers at home. I like to do Vegas on the (relative) cheap. But then I go and lose $$$ at the craps tables. Go figure.

Yeah, I would definitely play for that offer. Would love to join ya, but I have a few extra weeks before I can get out there. Let us know your thoughts on the course if you play.
