OK, I have no idea what my wife was looking for, but I know at age 60, it wasn't this.:evillaugh Anyway she sent me the link and she found it funny and so did I. http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/spo/3187168950.html Hope you get a chuckle!
What's hilarious is that they don't tell you what brand of pole it is. If that's a cheap one, that's insanely over priced. My mid-quality pole cost about 300 bucks, and that was several years ago. It has made it through three moves and is still safe for inverting after all these years.
Oh so very serious! Those cheap poles are really terrible. You can look up "Peekaboo pole" on Youtube and find tons of clips of poles falling over as people try to do simple tricks. I've included a picture of my pole, so you can see how it's set up in my living room. The move I'm (trying) to do is an "extended butterfly". There was actually talk about pole dancing becoming an Olympic sport.
I guessing the back-story goes: boys surprises his girl with a stripper pole. She crosses her arms and gives him the "are you for real" one eyebrow raised glare. He sighs and puts the item for sale on craigslist.
I found the real picture. She attached the fan to the floor and the cabinets to the ceiling. Then, took the picture upside down. Not really sure how she got her pony tail to stick straight up. Nice try Blue, but I'm on to your tricks.
i'm not sure what's that funny about it. we have one of those. yes, it attaches to the ceiling and compresses to the floor. it works great and my wife loves it. she took pole dancing classes for exercise at a local place and got the pole to continue at home.
