Never stayed there before. Can get a Mountain Luxury Room comped. Wealmost always stay at Paris. I can get a Premier camped but thought about trying something different. What do you think, PH Mountain Luxury Room or Paris Premier?

I've never stayed at PH but its one of my top 3 casinos as far as vibe and atmosphere.

The PH mountain room only has queen beds(no king) if that is an issue for you. The rooms are bigger than Paris. I like the vibe of PH casino but they do crank up the music in the casino at around 8:00pm. Depending on your age this is a good or bad thing.

That's good to know. I suppose if we got up enough up it wouldn't be a problem.

I cannot recommend PH, I just didn't have a great experience last year, the rooms are a bit dingy and outdated, you have to deal with the noise from the Cosmopolitan concerts all night, I didn't feel the service was that great, I don't feel the restaurants are that great, the EXTREMELY far walk to the rooms from self parking...

If I had a choice today, I'd stay at Paris, and visit PH, I love shopping there, but it's not my first choice to stay.

I would definitely recommend PH over Paris any day. Paris rooms are dated and PH rooms are more renovated.

Yes, the self parking walk to hotel is far, but Valet is definitely a consideration.

More dining choices in PH--PH buffet is better than Paris'; there's other dining options inside the mall/casino, such as Pampas Brazilian Grill, PF chang, Earl of Sandwhich etc.

    The casino is more lively.

Personally, I would rather stay at a resort room in PH over Paris' one bedroom suite. Just my IMO though.

Yeah keep in mind standard Paris Luxury rooms are pretty much the same that they were when it opened in 1999. Still nice, but dated with tube tvs. Red Rooms are updated but sometimes I've seen them almost twice as expensive as a regular room.

If you have the same offer I got (and it sounds the same) you should have a red room luxury as a comped choice also.

I was going to take PH up on the mountain luxury, but I decided to try Paris. Sounds like you are in the opposite situation; go ahead and try PH is my advice. It sounds like you want to try new experiences, and this is a good opportunity.

    It's nice to have choices!

Originally I would say PH over Paris--just much nicer, newer rooms (so not sure how these could be dingy...but, you never know!)
BUT red room at Paris is a step above PH for sure--take it!
GO room at Flamingo is the smallest of the 3...would be 3rd for me.

I am staying at PH for the first time for 5 nights starting this Saturday. I have always loved playing there so I am going to give it a shot. I got 5 nights Comped in a Hollywood Hip Strip View.
I like hanging at the pool all day, and people keep telling me the pool is not that nice but I am going to give it a try. I booked 2 nights (Sunday & Monday) at Mandalay Bay comped just in case I don't like the pool situation at PH.

    Have heard

$20 trick works well at PH to upgrade from HHip to Mountain view.
Also have heard while the pool is MEH, the crowd is usually pretty good.
Will be interested to hear--we are in Vegas for a week next month, 3 days at PH, so some pool time might be essential since we are there a week.

Flamingo has all that construction going on behind it. I was just at Ballys North tower and had a good view of it and I listened to it also.

    Red Room Luxury over Premier?

Looking I can get at CP Augustus Tower Deluxe King Rm@$54 a night/Palace Tower Deluxe King Room@$31 a night/Forum Tower Deluxe King Room@$28 a night. They use to comp me rooms but not much at CP anymore.

I really liked PH when I stayed there. The bathrooms are large, flat screen tv, new decor. The only thing I didn't like: There was a strip of duck tape in the hallway to patch the carpet. Other than that, it was a good stay, no complaints. The food options were good, Earls, buffet kept my stomach full!

I debated over Red Room Luxury vs. Premier and chose Red Room Luxury. To me the view (premier) is nice, but for a five night stay I would prefer the nicer room. I am thinking my chances are good to get upraded to a Red Room Premier, and if not I still have the nicer room.

In terms of CP, I actually cancelled a five night comped stay there in the forum tower for the Paris Red Room. I really like the location of Paris right on the strip, and I am looking forward to my stay there.

I took the Red Room Luxury and noted as up a floor as I can get with a fountain view. I can walk over to PH in 2 minutes and if I change my mind I'll change it.

Luxury do not have the strip view, and Premier do....

Since the red rooms are on the top floors, even a non-strip view cant be that bad.
