I got a great offer from Palms. $29 per night for the nights I wanted. Sound good? They wanted $20 per night resort fee. Thanks, but no thanks.
Well....29+20=$49 Still a pretty good rate and I doubt you will stay anywhere as nice for the same price Also palms charges the resort fees for some of the amenities like the gym, etc - just tell them you won't be using any of that stuff and they will probably not charge you....they did for me anyway
My offer was 3 nights, $200 FP and $25 in resort credits. I'll pay the $20 daily fee and take the 2 drink offers per day. Then I get myself 2 of the most expensive drinks and sit in my whirlpool and watch the planes land!!
Why is that a bad deal? $49 is great! Especially if it's a weekend. for $49 otherwise you'd likely be at Excalibur or Orleans or something... i'd much rather stay at the Palms.
My offer was 3 comped nights and $75 in free play. I dont mind paying the resort fee if I can get value from it via the drink vouchers. I wouldnt mind trying out the rooms at Palms Place instead, I hear they are a little nicer. Does anyone know if marketing will allow you to use your offer there and pay the difference?
Was put into Palms Place on my trip and the rooms were pretty cool but it is a LONG HAUL back to the casino. They actually have a couple of those moving walkways to assist. I moved to a room in one of the other towers after the first night. One of the things I like about the Palms is that it is so quick to get from your room to the casino floor. Just be warned.
my offer was two free nights, third night cost me 59, plus a 15 dollar a day resort fee on all three nights, which i had to negotiate BACK to on checkout, because they had charged me the 20 bucks a day. no drink vouchers, but got 50 dollars free play, split 25 for each of the two free nights. stayed there because that part of the trip was to check out the wsop, which is across the street at the rio. liked the poker room, except for the glare on the tables from the sports book...not that the book is not awesome, just that the video screens are so bright it is hard to see the cards in the poker room. it was the end of may, so all buffets were half price, and a separate line for players card holders, so since i was solo for this part of the trip, the buffet was my usual choice, and at half price, did not feel the need to get my moneys worth and therefore punish myself.
