Has anyone been to the NBA's summer league? I've wanted to go since I was a kid, but I realize none of the stars plays.

Whatever. Vegas is too hot for me in the summer. I should probably save my money and vacation time and load up on weekends late in the college football season, when I can get drunk in the sportsbook, win loads on teams people would never suspect (thank you, Michigan State, for your massive cover in the Big Ten title game last season), and blow it all at the strip club later that night.

Vegas is so awesome. Shame the way it has to hit 700 degrees most summer nights.

We went to a couple of games in 2009. They play at the Thomas & Mack center and play multiple games on the same day with a single admission.

We got to see the Bucks rookie choice that year which made it more interesting.

Not a big fan of the NBA, but my wife likes it.

I went a few years ago (the year Greg Oden was there, and what a shocker, he got hurt and only played one game). I thought it was a blast, but I am a basketball junkie. You can meet the players up close and its a very relaxed, fun atmosphere

Celtics fan here as well, will be there July 16-20, excited to go see some hoops. Hoping the unibrow will be playing, would love to see that block machine.

Thanks for the schedule link. It wasn't released when I looked last time. Can I watch games at either arena, or am I stuck at one place? Can I leave and come back?
