Most ATMS i see on the strip and downtown, you have to pay the fee to withdraw and also the fee for the bank you use. Does anyone know if there are ATMs that don't charge except for the bank?

I have 2 banks that i have free ATM withdraws because even though i pay it, they reimburse my fees. But i saw a few atms like bank of nevada that does the charge and also your bank charge.

Does anyone know if there are any ATMs inside the casino that doesn't charge except your bank charges? Im not sure how to phrase this but i know most atms charge about $10 or more to withdraw but are these the only fees? Or is it different from the ones your bank charges?

Last year when i was in vegas i recalled there was an ATM near Ballys at a 7/11 that the only fee... is your bank charges. I'm having a very bad trip right now.

That bank of america at caesars doesn't work to withdraw. I tried it last year.

The Chase at CVS... is that the CVS near Monte Carlo? I was just at the CVS today and didn't see a chase. Is it a bank of an ATM because i did not see any bank there. I did see an ATM once you come inside... is that what you mean?

That would make an interesting topic, ATM locations and their bank association, on or near the strip

That's the network used by ING. I got a checking account with them for trips like going to Vegas so I don't have to pay fees on either end. They have a free ATM app, which may help even if you don't want to have an account with ING.

go to walgreen. buy a drink or piece of fruit, something useful and in the $1 range. Then do cash back at register. Most of them you can do this up to 60 or 100$ for.

Also will work at any supermarket. No fee from your bank or from them, the cashier will just hand you back cash.

sounds like you're in rough shape, hope it works out better for you.

I use B/A and have withdrew cash from the ATM in the Forumn Shops with no problem. There is also a B/A ATM located in the M&M shop, took me an hour to locate it, but it is on the 4th floor.

I think the nearest ING ATM to Caesars is the CVS by Monte Carlo; I don't remember how much you can take out nor the denominations. I don't know if that's worth all the trouble to save a few bucks on surcharges.

I'm a couple of days late, but a few things...

Not sure about specific ATM limits, but I know my bank limits the amount I can withdraw on any given day per debit card.

A few years ago I saw on these forums about check cashing privileges at casinos. I took a check, my ID and asked at the cage at TI (back when they were an MGM property). I filled out a form, they ran my credit and gave me a limit. It used to be I needed to carry checks to Vegas with me, but now it's all electronic. I have a set dollar amount I can write checks up to.

If you need that much in available cash I suggest setting up a marker at a casino or two.

    Hope your luck turned around.

BTW...we do the check cashing because we still bank at a small local bank my husband has used forever. His mother just retired last year. We move frequently and it's easier than changing banks. Even if we went with a "national bank"...well, the small town we live in here doesn't have any of those either. We have friends that switched to Wells Fargo when we were all in El Paso and now that we've all relocated to MO, there isn't a Wells Fargo branch in the whole state!

Casino Royal's ATM by the cage only has $1.00 surcharge.

ATMs don't set the limit you can take out, your bank does. It's usually in the $400-$500 range. You need to check with your bank and that should be able to be adjusted if the limit is too low.

Yes, your bank can give you a temporary increase but you needed to do that before you left on your trip. If you need a large sum of cash, you can go to a Chase, Bank of America or Wells Fargo and have an electronic transfer done. You will be charged a fee accordingly, but there shouldn't been any limit on the transfer if the funds are in your bank. However if it's $10,000 or more, other factors can come into play. You will need documentation (Credit cards, debit cards ect..) with a Photo ID and a wait of 24 hours before it's available. That's because they run a credit check on you besides. They are very cautious on large amounts of cash. But if you need the money, it can be done.

Despite a significant balance, before my trip to Europe last September, my bank wouldn't increase my daily limit:rolleyes2: Ah well. We have 3 different accounts at 3 different banks (individual and a joint) so it can be worked out. Just be aware that no, banks won't always increase your daily limit. Mine (from the bank in question) is $400...(we primarily use the Cap One money market account for foreign ATM withdrawals - good exchange rate, no forex fee, no fee from them - only the ATM bank fee -in the US, we can use it at any credit union atm for no fee...)

Let me offer up a novel piece of advice in all this:

    Call YOUR bank.
