    Hi Folks,

Besides the Caesars craps tables I wanted to know about the craps tables at the Aria? Is the bounce like the tables at Caesars and the Paris? Are they also 12 footers? I changed my mind and decided to stay at the Aria as I wanted to try out a new hotel and it seemed like a good choice as I got a very good rate there on my Mlife card.

I will be staying there 7/1-7/4 and so that is Sunday through Wednesday so hopefully the tables won't be that full but you never know. I was also wondering if the table minimums were $10, and do they ever have $5 minimums on the craps there? Or...heaven forbid are their minimums $25? Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you :)

Played a lot of craps at Aria and never seen a $5 table. They have $10 tables, but those fill up quickly on the weekend afternoon and evenings. They do not have as many high minimum tables as Bellagio does on a weekend, but it does not sound like that is what you are looking for.

I play a lot less at Caesars for comparison purposes, but I would say the Aria table are less bouncy. On the plus side, Aria usually ha a lot of tables open, so there are plenty to test out and choose from

I just find the atmosphere at Aria to be very cold and uninviting.

Aria is clearly not for everyone. I like the roominess of it and the different lighting. When I play craps at Caesars, I feel cramped

When they used to have craps in the Olympic Casino, it was the grandest craps experience of them all.

If I remember (it's been a while), the tables are very small, you can almost drop the dice against the far wall :)
I've had a few big wins there.

stayed and played craps there in february and although it was mid week, they always had 3 $10 tables going except super late/early morn they had 1 or 2. had a great time, dealers were friendly. i believe the tables were standard size and the bounce seemed about average to the tables i play. sorry, never rolled at ceasars or paris so can't compare. had a great session with 4 or 5 young girls rolling. they didn't know what was going on and were mostly betting pass line and field bets and screaming and yelling when they won a $10 bet. was good fun and made some $$ off them. i'll be back in august and can't wait! Good Luck!

If you are looking for info about the actual tables, they are the shorter ones, and feel like the felt is very stiff when compared to other/older tables. I believe the felt was also a light brown / tan color (not sure if the color somehow relates to the bounce or if it even matters).

When I've played on them ($10 - $15 - $25 were the limits at the times I was there) there were typically 3 tables open, usually 1 with a lot of action and 2 sitting there with 0-2 players on them. Seemed like it was this way even on busier weekends - the tables never seem overly busy/crowded there. But there was definitely at least 1 'busy' table... in the event you like the crowd being there too.

I also recall playing on a table solo at about 430am and buying in for about $500, having all of it on the table at once between pass line, odds, place bets, and hardway bets, hitting about 4 of everything, then my point including the hardway bet, and cashing out for about $2k - all on my first play. I remember the dealers telling me I ought to buy a lottery ticket. I left them a generous tip that night/morning....

Agreed on previous comments that the casino is not for everyone... definitely has its own feel and atmosphere... If you aren't feeling it when you walk in, keep going, I hear there are a few more establishments with dice tables out there :)

Thank you everyone for your input, it has been very helpful to me. My brother use to live in L.A. and loves to play on the tables there in Vegas, but I don't think that he played much at the Paris or Caesars so he couldn't help me too much. I am so looking forward to playing craps at the Aria and the space around the tables sound nice. Color of the tables in the brown, green and blue color is fine.

My next question (I forgot to ask my brother) is how do they (the dealers) feel about dice setting? I do not take long to set up but I have heard that places like the Monte Carlo frown upon such a thing so I never play there. I know that the Bellagio is fine with it and so is the Paris. What has your experience been? And again, thank you for your input.

I set the dice whenever I shoot, but I am fairly quick about it. None of the dealers at Aria have ever said anything to me
