Great report, format and pics. Enjoyed reading about a lot of stuff we don't hear too often about on the boards. Ferrari rental sounds fun.

Great report! Thanks so much for posting. Sucks that you got sick, but you didn't let it ruin your trip and that's the important part. I look forard to your next tr!

Great report neighbour! I was there at the same time and in some of the same places, we probably passed each other without knowing it! Sorry about the food poisoning but glad you enjoyed the trip anyway.

The US side is big, the "international" terminal is pretty teeny. About the size of Buffalo, maybe a bit smaller. Fewer food choices.

Loved reading your report and all the pics. So there's a tattoo place at Miracle Miles? And you recommend them?

We stay at PH every trip. We are booked there for the weekend in November. It'll be the first stay there since HET took over. Should be interesting. LOL

Awesome TR! I got a tat at Club Tattoo early last year...but I could only afford a very small one :( His is awesome...did you pick out the design or was it drawn up for you? I didn't have to wait when we went, the shop was dead. It was around 11am on a weekday I believe.

I'd like to try King Ink this trip inside the Mirage but when I called them they told me that a small tat (a black chinese symbol about 4" x 4") would cost me around $200. Knowing that I can get that done a lot cheaper at home, unless I win the $200 I will have to pass on that this time! I can do a lot of damage at the tables or slots with $200 of my bankroll.

Oh....and what is a Gizmobie? Sounds interesting.....

Club Tattoo was great. They were all very helpful. Mike picked the design out of the computers they have set up there. They sized it down and the tattoo artist just had to do the outlines for it so it took a little while because of all of the detail. It was definitely pricey...$850! They charge a minimum of $100 there.

    These are Gizmobies: http://www.gizmobies.com/

They're thick, protective, decorative "skins" that stick to your phone, ipod, laptop, etc. They come off easily so you can change them up if you want. They look pretty cool and come with a lifetime warranty. They're non skid too, so if I stick on a smooth surface like glass, it'll stay put even if it's completely vertical. I tried to stick it on the mirror at the gym and while it stuck for a bit, it didn't stay on for that long. Still pretty cool!

Don't laugh but I got an italian flag in the shape of a Mickey Mouse head on my foot and it was $125. Literally the size of a half dollar. Then, it got infected during the trip and cost me another $100 for a doctor visit and antibiotics when I got home. Almost the same that I paid for my large back tat.....but, it was Vegas and I always have that memory! Next time I won't take the bandage off so damn soon! LOL

Great trip report! We were in Vegas the same time as you and also stayed at the PH (Sun - Tues morning of our trip/moved off-strip for the remaining time). I have notes on my trip, but haven't sat down to write my trip report yet. This was the first time for us to stay at PH and we both really enjoyed it.

I hate it when people say "it probably wasn't food poisoning" because who ever really knows, but for what it is worth, my hubby got sick Wednesday night with the same thing. We ended up staying an extra night Thursday night in Vegas because he was too sick to travel. We drove to Vegas so staying another day wasn't a big deal for us. I am SOOOOOOO glad we didn't fly this time because he wouldn't have been able to fly on Thursday. I was panicking that I was going to get sick too. My stomach was miserable on Thursday, but I never did get to the point he did. His was bad. Between Wednesday night after 9:00pm and late Saturday night after we got home, he only had a few fries and a small chicken strip to eat. Needless to say I did most of the driving on the way home on Friday.

Nice TR! Can never do everything on 1 trip, gotta come back again to see all that you missed. And yep, as a previous poster said, terminal 2 at the airport is the small one. AC still flies out of there and there's probably 5 or 6 gates. WJ used to fly out of T2 but they moved to T1. Big difference between the two. And $500 for 5 hours in that car seems like a good deal. How fast did it go?

Oh wow! I wonder if it was a bug going around. Very strange. Glad to hear you had a good time at PH though!

So not only is flying out of Buffalo cheaper, but it gets you the better terminal too!

I don't know how fast it went. We really wanted to stomp on it, but there were cars everywhere so we didn't get the chance. I guess safety comes before being awesome. :evillaugh
