Spent the last couple of hours jumping around the casino. Some BJ, some 3 card poker, little video poker and some crazy slots. Dropped a few hundred in the $5 slots quick so went down to the dollar ones but then wound up on a dollar one with like 40 lines by the cashier - got some jackpot on it for like $1400 that required to wait forever for the lady to pay it. Lost more than that though on the tabled before so probably donated like 700 tonight to caesar. i should go back to that first $5 video poker machine and see if i can get the lightning to strike twice. Off to bed

Can't think of a better way to start a trip! Congrats! I can't help hoping our trip in April kicks off in much the same way.

The old lady went for some spa day so I headed over to Wynn to check out the action and sample their buffet for breakfast.

Food wasn't bad. Think I killed 5 orange trees with the amount of OJ I drank - I am expecting a citrus smelling urine to be excreted soon after overloading the nephrons.

Left most of the cash in the safe so didn't have loads with me going to Wynn so I was low rolling. 3 card was easy to play without thinking too much. Got a few flushes and straights but never at the same time! Walked away with $225. The roulette wheels there suck since they can not hit on 8 or 11 on demand. So there went half my 3 card winnings.

Thinking abou tplaying some regular poker this afternoon but I doubt I can go for long - I get too bored so unless I am raking in monster pots every 3 hands, I will die from lack of epinephrine circulation.

Kind of hard to chase the first big hit - even a $200 hit on roulette would be like 6-7 grand! I had 20! Now I need 30+! lol - Hello 411 - what is the number to 1-800-GAMBLER?

I think we all suffer from the same thing . . . chasing that big jackpot in the sky; just knowing and hoping that it's out there somewhere!

Well I tried poker but as I thought I got bored. Each time I wanted to play my hand I was betting $20-25 and no one would play really. I had one hand where I had king and queen of clubs and raised to $25 and as it turns out a guy with a pair of kings called. 2 clubs came but there was no ace so the other guy thought he was good. I don't know the odds or anything but he only bet $50 - what do I care so I called and then got the 5th club. He then bet $100 and I just called. The last king came on the last card and he pushed all his chips in (I think $115 or so) - I wish i could have raised more - oh well. He was pissed lol. But I got bored after about 90 minutes and figured i would relax for an hour before the dinner rush lol.

Well she woke up - she is getting herself pretty so we can go for dinner. I think we are going to try the burger joint next door at the mirage and then see if we can hit pay dirt over there.

Well I think I am full of every fried appetizer known to man. Wings, fries, cheese, rings, I can feel my LDL rise above 800. I had to force the burger down - then cried like a baby as leaving and walking past the 8 foot tall cakes in the case at the deli across the hall.

I was having a ball in their casino but the Mrs. had to watch Jack Bauer - she can have him - just let me keep hitting good cards at 3 card poker. I think I must have had a stretch of 20 hands where like every other one was a flush or straight - also felt like I at least got a pair on the others - though the dealer did beat me one when I had a flush - dealer also had trips but I had garbage - glad I did not waste a hand on that. I walked away from there with $1500 or so but gave most of it back to their damn roulette table - maybe I was mistaken and our anniversary was October 31st or something like that?

Figured I would let the gut relax a bit and head back down to the floor after Jack Bauer saves us from the TWAs of the day.

Looks like a $5 JOB machine, playing 5 "coin" ($25) in per game. At least this one, which was a good thing.

Today was wild day. I got my 8 to hit on the roulette wheel again for a little over $3000 - but it took me like $1000 to get there. I played some Pai gow for a few bucks on the plus side for like a half hour. Craps was a money pit - it was like point-7 for like 15 minutes straight - gave up and thought I would go check out Venetian. Their roulette wheels sucked - so thought I would try some slots. Played some red white blue machine but got bored - I think i need the games with the bonus rounds to keep interested. So I found some non reel-video based games. That was a little more entertaining - I just kept hitting the start/stop button until the bonus came not letting the reels stop. That kept me entertained for a while. Walked over to Palazzo. Played BJ for a couple of hours which meant I was doing fairly well. Came back "home" - ended the day up less than $1000 but it was fun bouncing around. I hear we are having Italian tonight - hope it is not as fried as last night's food.

Well came to put the wife to bed - I will see if I will go down later after she falls asleep. Went and played some BJ and 3 card again after dinner. Luck was not with me this time :( Although the little lady did hit some nice jackpot on the machines for $700. Didn't eat much at dinner - still having nightmares from the mass quantities last night. Saw some dude playing mad money at the table next to mine. I am fairly sure he was using $1000 chips and had a nice little stack each time - maybe $5k? I can only imagine a good streak with that with some nice doubles - an easy $100k lol.
