All the trips that I have taken to Vegas I have never had a lady of the night approach me,We arrived yesterday at noon and I have been propositioned 3 times this morning at 6:45 must be the economy.
Since times are tough all over wonder if 1 may have been with "like a law enforcement agency" to get some funds for their dwindling resources? With my 'luck'[STRIKE][/STRIKE] that would have been the case...
do not confuse a hooker for a lady trying to cheapen a vegas trip with side income..power to them, us men would love to cheapen a trip but guys like me get no offers. Like you, I had never been approached in Vegas in all my trips till last trip in Dec and it was around 5:30 in the morning around Bills. I am sorry to say I denied her without finding what the going rate was. She was a lady who looked good even sober.

I needed a stick to beat them off at the Golden Nugget a few months ago. I was playing video poker and they came up like every 10-15 minutes. It was bad.....
I was approached last year, the funny thing is this lady didn't care that I am gay...and I was with my partner. Now you wouldn't know I was as I was wearing a football jersey and don't act the part but hey, they must be hard up for money (or something ) I can only imagine what its going to be like this year....Hahahaha
All the times i've been only 1 time when i was sitting at the bar at the Trop. I was so excited i told her i had to go and run up to the room and told the wife. BTW the women had seen much better days way, way back when.
Nope... I got it for ya... Hooking and Slicing: My Nights and Days in Las Vegas :evillaugh Myself, I got approached for the first time in December about 4 or 5am on my way back to my room at MGM. She was an attractive girl but my attempt to get rid of her like she was a time share agent was for naught. Hint: Some of them don't mind "doing" locals :confused2: Who knew a simple, no thanks works even better. Anyway, they were out in force in late December. Playing spot the hooker really isn't that much fun like that :Þ
Actually, the golf book was entitled Hooking ... and Slicing in Vegas before we decided on a better-for-the-shelf simple title.
The most hookers I have seen in one spot is Bellagio. The World of Concrete convention was going on and they were all over the place. That was a couple years ago and I believe the men said the ladys mentioned something about $500. I'm not going this year, but if I were, that's where I'd be, playing spot the hooker. Wonder what their price would be now. :evillaugh
Hubby tells me he's never been approached by ladies of the night, but who knows--he might either be clueless or forgetful or just not telling me (I doubt that last one because he knows I'd find it too funny not to be shared) Sadly, we don't have a Vegas trip planned in the near future but if the economy is still faltering the next time we're there--will be interesting to see if he's approached....
Mike - where are you staying..the Mirage? I ask because I've only been approached twice in all the trips we've taken to Vegas and both times it was at the Mirage at about the same time of the morning as you. I was enjoying a coffee drink playing VP in my morning sweats and a baseball cap on All I could think about was how many must have been there before me... Both times, I responded w/ a "no thank you"... my wife is up in our room. One of the times, she proceeded to ask... do you think she might be interested too? As much as I was tempted to surprise the little Catholic girl upstairs, my brain took over for my penis and I again, said, thanks but I don't think so. Both times, they were very nice looking, polite and smiled and wished me good luck. The last one looked like she could have been Nichole Kidman's twin...tell me that didn't have me thinking menage-a-trois...
Like bears that come out of the woods for food when there is drought, I ran into a hooker all the way out at Eastside Cannery on Boulder Hwy. I asked her what she was doing so far from the Strip and she said business was way off and she was fishing for new business.
Maybe I'm tripping on LSD or just visiting a different Vegas, but the pros are all over me like a bad rash any time I'm within 50 feet of the MB Island Bar, Rio's Back Bar, or anywhere in Bellagio. It's like children in Juarez or gulls at the beach-you don't dare give one the time of day unless you want to wear three others like a cheap suit. I even had one offer to "quietly" do me in the bathroom while my wife slept.
OK, now that we've moved on from talking about Ken's next book.... I've been approached a few times in my 20 or so trips to Vegas. The first time wasn't until well past my 10th trip. Maybe because I looked too young and broke before then. The first was walking into Casino Royale. "Hey, where are you going?" (I was going inside to gamble.) "Can I come along?" Very cute, early 20's, "girl next door" type, walking with a friend. Once was toward the back of the Mirage casino, near the elevators. "Want some company?" 20's, stereotypical hooker look. Another time was in the Bellagio, walking past a bank of slot machines near the elevators. There were a few of them. "Where are you going? Hey! Come over here a minute." Again, 20's, stereotypical hooker look. The most recent time was outside Caesars Forum Shops in November. And she was a little scary looking. "Hey, do you have a cigarette?" (No) "Wait. Where are you going?" Maybe in her 20's, but looking worn, probably having had a tough young life. Never had the pleasure of running the gauntlet over at Tropicana.
Yep at the Mirage in a Tower Deluxe Dean. I really like the new rooms they are different but that's OK I see your planning a trip soon, you have to go eat @ Sinatra because that was some most excellent food and service. Report to come later
