Coke v Pepsi

This has been covered here before, but I somehow missed how ridiculous the coke versus Pepsi fight has become. Aria and Wynn (my home bases this trip) have Coke, so no need for me to complain, but the CP, does even carry Coke in the convenience stores! See this map from early 2020:

I understand why you would only have one or the other as an option at the tables, but blocking Coke from the stores is something I thought was odd.

PS: And no, I did not buy two cans of Coke to reach the Pepsi button

 

I haven't drank a soda in years, but as a kid, of those two, I preferred Pepsi. Actually, root beer was my favorite

 

AFAIK, you cannot buy Coke products ANYWHERE on a CET property.

 

Isnt the coke vs pepsi war the reason all the Mcdonalds were kicked out of MGM properties ?

They may have an exclusive deal with Pepsi. I know that college athletics has pretty large contracts, Nebraska has a contract with Pepsi. So it very well may carryover to other business’.
Never a fan of Pepsi, just don’t soda much.

Most Pepsi properties keep some Cokes stocked in their high limit rooms for their bigger players. When my partner drank soda, she would get cans of diet coke from the server in the Mandalay high limit even though you couldn;t purchase it anywhere on the property

 

Jerry Jones likes Pepsi but it cost them A fortune to be his favorite. Miller Lire too.

I was a Coca Cola saleman for about a year and a half. Enjoyed the job and the Pepsi/Coke wars are real. We fight for everything: retail space, advertising, store position, etc. Ongoing battle to win the hearts and minds of the retail managers.

If I wasn't offered an apprenticeship to become an Electrician, I'd probably still be working for Coca Cola. But I digress.....

Anyway, I prefer Coke, not because I used to work for them, but because I like the stronger "bite" and the less sweeter taste. I've always preferred coke from a youngster until now.

I cannot drink sodas anymore, for health reasons. But when in Vegas I throw all caution to the wind. I love Coronas too but that's for another thread.

 

Have always been a Jack and Coke drinker. Jack and Pepsi just not the same.

I can not drink coke.. every time I drink it I get a headache.. not sure why..
I can drink as much pepsi as I want.

 

I would say "BUY" is the keyword as my old Vegas host always left me a bottle of Single Barrel Jack in my room with a 6 pack of Fiji and a 6 pack of Coca Cola, but I know for a fact that you can buy coke in Harrahs New Orleans, I honestly cant remember where I got my coke previously in Vegas outside of CVS (jokes can be made about the last line)

yes, Jack and Coke drinker here, I hate pepsi, it taste like flat coke to me

 

Fatburger @ Harrah's Lake Tahoe has Coke, not Pepsi. (I assume this is CET property in the little food court, but maybe not).

 

I prefer Diet Coke, but I'll still drink Diet Pepsi if it's the only thing available.

 

My wife worked at a large community college and Pepsi made a very generous donation to the foundation for them to be the exclusive supplier of cola everywhere within the system. So maybe Pepsi or their local distributor made a deal with CET/CP in LV to be their only supplier.

 

No Coke, Pepsi.
