They extended Stalla in to the casino. There used to be a bunch of VP machine in this spot.

Yes, Stalla took that was the progressive slant top area. Didn’t find the progressive last trip. Will look again in October.

    I really like this place!

TY, I'm really enjoying your TR as we have a trip planned in two weeks for my 67th Bday. We've done a lot of the charter trips but this time we cancelled a Vegas trip due to the mandatory masking and bought our own (1st Class) flights into GPT and gonna do a limo service to the Beau and arrive at the front door for a change:beer:. To try and avoid larger crowds (regarding Covid) we're doing a Sunday (in) thru Friday (out) trip. We normally do the regular comp'd room but was able to book a Jasmine Suite form an offer we got for a reasonable price. We upgraded to one of these rooms in the past and really enjoyed the room and the amenities that come with it. I believe the Jasmine suites are all city view but honestly, we've stayed in the gulf view rooms so many times that I actually enjoy the city view sometimes, especially with the ball park there now. My experience over the years has been a very reasonable/smaller crowd on weekdays. Love playing in the new(er) Sports Bar and old Breeze Bar!

How many blocks away is Mary Mahoney's? And where is the place you went for those yummy oysters?

I wondered where these went too. You're talking the old progressive machines that used to be outside the old poker room (and then no smoking room) right? Which reminds me.... didn't they took out the no smoking area and what is in there now?

    Only about 2 blocks.

Two streets behind Mary Mahoney's. Adventures Pub and Spirits, https://adventurespub.com/

The hurricane has caused problems with the oyster supply, hopefully they catch up before you get here.

    Have fun!

Hope you had a good time! It looked like masking was sporadic since (the way I read the statement on the BR website) it's recommended but not mandated/required. My plan is to keep one with me and probably wear it when walking around the casino but take it off once I'm seated at a machine, the Breeze Bar or Sports Bar.

That's what we did. Room to machine or restaurant.

Borgata next month and back to BR in November. Looking forward to it.

I wish Vegas would do that...seems to me the same logic they use for taking it off in a restaurant would apply to sitting at a bar or a machine.

@Ty Are you going there more often than Vegas because of a less strict mask policy?

It's mainly how easy it is on the MGM charter flights to Biloxi (and Atlantic City)

The flight is out of Macon airport, twenty minutes from our house. Friday we ate supper at our favorite Mexican place and stayed till 5pm. Our flight was at 6:30. If we were going to Atlanta we would allow 4 hours to drive there, park, security, etc. The parking lot at Macon is smaller than the Wal-Mart parking lot and it takes a minute to walk in, and it's free.

I've never been in the Macon airport when another flight was leaving, it's just been the folks on the charter. Going from the ticket counter to TSA is liking going from the Cal sports book to Holo bar. Same going from TSA to the gate.

The flight is 55 minutes compared to 4 hours to Vegas. They take our luggage from the plane to our room. When we land they have 3 tour buses waiting to carry folks to Biloxi. It happens quick. Once the bus is full it leaves, I'm guessing the 3rd takes longer waiting for stragglers but we're often on the first bus.

Check-in is quick, they have the room keys in envelopes waiting to hand out.

One of the downsides is drink service on the floor. In the afternoon when I smoke a cigar I try to find a machine not too close to others. One day I sat there 45 minutes without a CW coming by. Next time I'll take a drink from the room. That's another thing, since we check out luggage at Macon I can take a bottle of booze with me for in the room.

When I'm playing 10-play 4 OAKS don't seem picture worthy. I try to post the dealt premium hands, SF, RF. We played almost no single line games and absolutely no Uprights, and my back/shoulders appreciate it.
