Agree, they pulled the offers, even those that were sent out.

I put in play I and am only getting discounted room offers with FP on their website, but have received comp event room offers with generous RC.
Seems odd as the offers seem drastically different. Maybe the event offers take tier more into account?

Just got this (Offer Code REGAL1); not sure if it was just because of the match, my little bit of play (and less-little bit of losses ), or some combination thereof :hmmm: but I’ll take it

I keep wishful thinking checking this thread when a new post pops up hoping it will say the tier match was extended or someone tried in September and was still allowed to match, lol.

    I've reached the bargaining stage

Haha same. Every damn time someone posts. Unfortunately I don't think it will happen. They redirected the tier match offer page to the main Wynn Rewards landing page https://www.wynnlasvegas.com/wynn-rewards/tier-match

My guess is they will base future marketing only on rated play at Wynn. They will clench their teeth and quietly fulfill terms of the tier match—but out loud behind closed doors they can’t wait for this all to go away. The vast majority of matchers won’t come anywhere near meeting the play expectations Wynn probably had. They will be stuck with people coming in and expecting free stuff all the way through January 2023–if they don’t water down tier benefits before then.

Its an acquisition cost just like the early free days of Wynn Slots were.

It is not like they did not know there would be freeloaders when they did it. It is slightly possible that they underestimated the number of CET diamonds who don't even gamble, but even people taking the properties come on the property and potentially spend more than just the credit. And if they get some long terms players lured away from other clubs, those will pay for all the extra they gave away.

I tier-matched and played a bit last Saturday. Just received this offer this afternoon. Went ahead and booked for a couple of days in October. It's REGAL2

This, much more than the "clench their teeth" scenario.

They have been willing to give rooms and stuff away on a silly phone app game.

The tier matches will give them some actual players.

Is the tier match over, or still running in September?

It would be lovely if they allowed us pond hoppers a chance to match when we are allowed to enter directly from the UK and EU

Now that we are all black Tier at Wynn ;) has anybody tried out the „complimentary night club entry“ yet? How does it work? Can I really just show up at the door at XS anytime and get in for free +1? That would be an amazing benefit for me.

oh and by the way it show my status as only being black for the rest of the year online. Is that a glitch? I though it was for next year too.

Oh thank you so much for that. Unfortunatly it sounds like they will just not award it unless you are playing regularly at Wynn. All these T&Cs give them so many excuses :(
At least with Seven Stars you used to be able to just walk up to Omnia and get in. I love when you don't have to pre arrange anything and can go an a whim.

I'm currently at Wynn/Encore on my MATCH2 offer.

When I checked in, I asked about the Black card upgrade to the Tower, and they said I'd have to talk to a host. I fought back a bit and showed where it said the upgrade, but no big deal. They did say it was $100 extra a night if I wanted it. At least they didn't first try to upsell me like Venetian (which now always tries to get me to upgrade).

Also asked about late checkout. That's a Black benefit, too, and I showed that as well, but they said I'd have to call the day of.

Got an even room on the 20th floor facing XS, and boy was it loud. Thought I could sleep through the thumping bass for one night, but it was too much. I called down at 3 a.m. and they let me move to the 18th floor across the hall to an odd room. Luckily they were able to do this to my key without having to recode or get a new one. So I just went down 2 floors and had a couple more hours of peaceful rest. Had I known that, I would've called earlier. (She did offer a higher room but I'd have to switch to the other tower.)

Played off and on yesterday (Sept. 7), which was the last day of their $10,000 Labor Day promotion.

Every 750 points earned, you pick 1 of 5 grills for a freeplay award. Kind of funny, as I came right from Harrah's Southern California, where the gift giveaway was barbecue grills and everyone was walking around with them.

The prize list isn't shown in the game (the screenshot above came from an email), so you don't know what's available. And after you choose, it doesn't reveal what was under the other grills (guessing because it's a forced choice pushed on you and your selection doesn't matter). So not a very good game. At least it showed how many more points you needed before you could play the game. I didn't see any ads for it, and I didn't see anyone playing it (I mostly played slots around the kiosks at Wynn and Encore).

    Results:

    So $60 total.

Went to the desk and asked about the $300 dinner benefit, and they said I should charge to my room and on the day of checkout, come back to the rewards desk to have them credit. I asked if taxes were included, and they said I'd have to pay taxes. What if the total was $200? She said I'd still have to pay taxes.

Didn't make sense, since comps usually either take off the taxes or include taxes. Anyone have experience with this?

I used the mid-tier wifi ($25), which running the Internet Speed Test, is slower than advertised. And charged $16 snacks to my room. Which leaves about $60 more of my $100 resort credit.

Got a nasty spider bite on my leg (from Harrah's SoCal) so elected to postpone my spa massage for next time.

Strange, I posted 8 pictures of the game -- 7 $5 and 1 $25, yet it kept auto-deleting some of them while I was in draft mode. I redid it a couple times, but figured maybe VMB was dissatisfied at my results as well and decided they were too embarrassing to post.

This is in line with what I expected. A lot of the Black tier benefits are going to be "based on host approval" rather than automatic thanks to us tier matchers.

That is, if you have played up to what they expected of Black tier guests, you will get these things through a host--but if you tier matched and didn't play much, you won't.

It does sound like the $300 dinner and $200 spa credits are being issued out to tier matchers with minimal issues.

Has anyone booked the complementary golf? I hope that one will be automatic like the dinner and I plan to use it. Golf club shipping? I doubt the rewards desk is going to be able to arrange that one. Something tells me a host would say my zero play doesn't qualify. :)

A new MATCH1 type offer doesn't seem to be forthcoming. I may have to book a paid stay in my birthday month next year, use the freebies that are available and see what they think of my play going forward.

Was fortunate to receive and book a tournament offer in October (the match offers disappeared before I could call.) Was connected to a host and put down for the tower if it's available without asking. Did ask to avoid the loud club side. I had put in play however.

Received an email about my birthday offer later this year $300 dinner and $50 FP. Not sure if I'll make it, happy with the better tournament offer in any case.

I don't think I've ever paid tax on comps in LV, only tips. Tax on free is zero, I think there may be some regions that do otherwise.

Yeah I've never been charged tax on something that was comped off. At least in most states an org doesn't pay taxes on something it buys from itself. They're probably just reading boilerplate t and c

It depends on how they do it so sometimes you do pay tax and sometimes you don’t. Bottomline is whatever they do they should be paying that tax to the the appropriate agency and never pocketing it themselves.

When I charge to my room at M life and resort credit is applied, I am charged the tax. I don’t “pay” the tax since the resort credit takes care of it. I do always pay the tip. This is where maybe the employee is confused about what is meant by paying the tax. Is tax charged in the first place? At The Plaza when I used dining credit, I was charged the tax amount then the credit was applied.

At The D/Circa and Caesars if I use dining credit or the celebration dinner or rewards credit, I’m not charged tax.

D/Circa changed within the past year and they now charge tax as part of your food credit/points.
