If you could live anywhere...

Where I stay for the past 10 years. Bangkok Thailand. My heaven on earth.

 

With 50M, pack the bags and go:

1. wherever,
2. whenever

 

Around where I live now in the LA area (South Pasadena) and Newport Coast, CA. Not somewhere hours from many local attractions, shops, and eateries.

 

Rent out the house and buy an RV to travel. I'm not set on any particular area right now.

 

An acreage somewhere. A huge tract of land that is ours, lots of room for the dogs to run and play. My dream is to have enough land and privacy to put up a 'beagle barn'. A place for ALL the rescue beagles I could find and care for. Let them play, bark and just 'be'.

 

1. Southwest South Dakota.
2. Northeast Minnesota
3. Northern Nevada

 

1. Vegas, somewhere in Summerlin.

2. Idaho, a fiercely independent state.

 

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in the Spring/Summer - see the first snow then head South

Bandera, Texas area not too from where I'm at now in Winter

 

Travel, travel, travel. Ever since I saw a Travel channel show about what used to be called ResidenSea, but is now called The World, this idea has fascinated me.

 

My sister and b-i-l did 2-3 months on the World a few years back.

 

Don't keep me hanging! . Did they love it. Did they hate it. ???

A. Wouldn’t move anywhere else in Canada. Don’t need to. I need a home base.
B. Everywhere and anywhere I felt like. I wouldn’t settle on one place. There is a WHOLE world out there and I would want to take in as much as possible….

 

Seattle and Seoul, S. Korea

 

I'd live in a castle/chateau somewhere in the British Isles. I wouldn't bother with a vacation home. I'd just do a VRBO/AirBNB/fancy hotel whenever I travel.

 

with that kind of dollar, Switzerland, so I can monitor it and go skiing.
Of course, where I live now, I love where I live
, and Vegas

4 homes - here at home; Swiss chalet, Vegas, I would be a hotel downtown and walk around like a normal person incognito, and finally Florida, but only for 3 weeks during the winter

 

Keep my home in Chapel Hill, NC area and have a summer home in Wellfleet, Cape Cod. Spent every summer vacation there growing up and did the same for my kids. Heaven.

 

I’d stay right where we are in northern Nevada… but I would LOVE to split time with a beautiful place on Oahu!

Thailand has been on my bucket list of places that I wanted to visit for quite awhile, but I cringe every time I look at the long flight times from Chicago to Bangkok.
