    Minimums So Far Tuesday -

    Paris - pre-breakfast had $10 blackjack. Post-breakfast everything was up to $15+.

Flamingo - 2 $15 blackjack, 1 ecraps for $10, 1 real craps for $25 which moved to $50 during my roll

Linq - everything $15, also had ecraps

Harrah’s - 1 $15 crapless, 1 $15 craps, 1 ecraps. Blackjack were $15 or $25. Drink service was nonexistent here. I did not see a single server. I don’t know if there weren’t any or if they were just rare.

@Catboiler - a craps game on a BJ table? I’m at the Flamingo in 5 days, will check it out. Very curious!

They do! It was pretty big too. It’d be a great place to dine alone because it was REALLY loud but the food portions are also pretty big, just an FYI. It was delicious, we said we’ll definitely go back another time!

We started with the small seafood platter (3 oysters, 3 clams, 2 crab legs, 3 shrimp, & a pile of lump crab) and there was bread. For entree I had the pan roast & Dan got the southern fried shrimp. He had order envy & I was really surprised he didn’t get something fresher, you can get fried shrimp in Indiana. He said he should have ordered the salmon but the shrimp were still good. I got three drinks (Pineapple iced tea, sun-drenched pearl, & starboard spritz) & Dan got a Corona. He said he’s taken it easy today in anticipation of cabana drinks tomorrow. They offered us a complimentary birthday dessert but we were so stuffed, we turned it down. I’m borderline “hate my life” full.

We Ubered over here. When we were looking at cars midday today, it said $25. When we finally ordered one, $33. Blah. Took 13 minutes to arrive but the gentleman was very nice. Leaving, it was much harder to get a car. We had one guy on his way for 10 minutes & then it canceled, so we got another & he arrived in about 10. Estimate was $18.50 (in the car now, so we’ll see).

Headed back to Paris. Going to gamble at home base since we didn’t much yesterday (outside of when we first arrived). Gonna start chugging hydration stuff to help for tomorrow!

Photos on the same post! Woo. Ive been typing most posts on a Bluetooth keyboard & my iPad in the room and all my photos are on my phone so I’ve been posting them separate. :D:D (Old ipad, doesn’t connect to iCloud) But photos are at the top now. WTF. Okay. Think I figured it out for next time. Maybe. :headbang:

Does any of the blackjack below $25.00 pay 3:2 for a blackjack? BTW love the food pics. That mini seafood platter looks like a bargain.

The seafood tower & pan roast look delicious! Have you had the pan roast at the Oyster Bar at Palace Station? How does it compare?

It's not even 10am and now I want pan roast. *sigh* :feedme::feedme:

    The
$25 blackjack doesn’t even pay 3:2 anymore. And about 50% of the tables are shufflers instead of shoes, even on $25 tables. I’ve seen ONE 3:2 table, for $25, at (if I remember correctly) Cosmo (maybe ParkMGM)

ive never been over to Palace Station but GVR is a station casino so they’re probably comparable. It was an AWESOME deal and delicious.

It looks like TI, Oyo, and ELCO for me unless things change a lot in 60 days.

I’m looking forward to gambling on a computer with little to no social interaction. As an extrovert, it’s painful….

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME
The big 3-6 today. Woo 80s kid.

We Lyfted back to Paris from GVR last night. $19.99 before tip. And it was much faster. So we got screwed by Uber on the way there. Dinner was phenomenal. I highly recommend it. And since off strip, a really good deal. We gambled until about 2am after that. I played for almost 5 hours on the same $300. Craps & blackjack. At one point at blackjack, dealt a 3 & 5 of hearts. Dealer turned over 4 of hearts. I had $5 on trilux & $5 on in between (or whatever it’s called, it’s a newer side bet). Was 30-1 & 10-1. And another time got trip-6s. 15-1 & 30-1. I ranged from “$25, last hand” to up to $500. Ultimately threw it all away but I’m not unhappy about how much fun it was. Sat next to some fun people and some weird people. Overall, awesome evening.

Now, checked into the cabana. Already had lunch. And on round 2 of drinks. Dan started with a frozen vodka lemonade & now having a frozen raspberry lemonade (“Quite refreshing!” - Dan). I started with a vodka Red Bull and now having a strawberry daiquiri. Both quite good. I mixed up a cup of WaterBoy too, to prehydrate. Ordered sandwiches, ham & Swiss and turkey/bacon/Swiss. Both meh. Generic sandwiches. Turkey needed a ton of Mayo cause it was so dry. Ordered 2 bags of chips.

We have cabana 17. I’ve actually been in this one before (circa 2010ish). It’s probably the most private of it. Good for a couple rather than a party group. And close to the bathroom! I like the Paris pool. I prefer this more chill vibe to the party pools at other resorts. There is a lot of kids out today though. We’re not “lay out at the pool” kind of people.

I was worried about my giant blister in the pool but it didn’t hurt and it’s probably actually good for it. My giant amount of poison Ivy too. Yeah Midwest plants trying to kill me.

For now, honestly, just gonna get drunk. It’s my birthday, I’m vegging in Vegas, & have giant cocktails on demand. Life is good.

    Cheers!

Great report so far! From a former Indiana resident (Crawfordsville and Speedway)
I also really like Park MGM and Best Friend. One of my top 5 restaurants in Vegas.

    Happy Birthday!!!

Hanging out in the pool. There really are a lot of kids splashing around. Some playing without splashing others, some being really obnoxious. We had a round in the pool - frozen vodka lemonade for me & a Miller lite for Dan. Just ordered another - marg with salt for me & went back for vodka lemonade for Dan. This one is really good, tart, not too sweet. We did another WaterBoy. Feeling tipsy but good. I think the WaterBoy is going to be a success! Our server Samatha is awesome! Brought us drinks in the pool, rather than leaving them in the cabana to melt.
Put my iPad & phone in the fridge for like half an hour because they were both REALLY hot.

If I remember correctly A told me that he & his friends found $15 BJ at TI, and Oyo had it for $10. TI was Saturday early afternoon and Oyo was Sunday evening/night. Late June.
