Our timing couldn’t be worse. We have been in Vegas for some pretty hot weather but this will be the worst! We will definitely stay hydrated. At least it will be 72 degrees in the casinos. ;)

Indeed. Here’s what I’ve got waiting for me from the 13th through the 25th. From previous experience it seems like once the temps get north of 105 each degree increase is extremely noticeable.

Yeah, I can deal with high 90’s or even low 100’s but those temps can be unbearable for those of us not acclamated to it.

The biggest problem is honestly the wind. I'd also recommend layering, because some of the casinos are absolutely freezing indoors despite it being a furnace outdoors (Aria has been particularly bad on this front). But while you can adjust your clothing depending on the temperature, it's pretty much impossible to defend against the wind.

Yes, we are well aware of that vast temp difference from casino to the outside. We will be stepping outside to warm up!

I’ve been a couple of times during LV highs.

Do what you want to do in the morning. It’s uncomfortable once all that concrete heats up. Even the pools were like taking a bath.

    Have fun!!!

At least many of us don't have to wear masks. That would be brutal.

Hmmm. Strategerie is the key…… Plan ahead. Walk out of air conditioning and walk out to more air conditioning. And get the coupon for MORE air conditioning. :nworthy:

    Stay well hydrated.

You know it's hot when the asphalt feels sticky.

Never really bothered me. I get out very early and then again late in the evening. During the day I am inside in the AC.

I love the heat-- I am OK with 115.
As always, drink plenty of water. I do year round.

When it's 105+ and windy in Vegas, it feels like being underneath a McDonald's bathroom hand drier.

Have fun, blue!! Way too many 110+ days -- Vegas, Laughlin, AZ, Coachella Valley -- over too many years for this former heat-hound, however.
