I went there for breakfast on Wednesday 5/26. There was a new cook making the omelette's that I hadn't seen before. But I still enjoyed the omelette. I might be in the minority but I like the Breakfast Buffet at MGM Grand, always hits the spot for me. I have tried the lunch and dinner buffet before for free, and I was disappointed.

I ate here today and it was ABYSMAL.

If you thought it was bad before... they remodeled and took out like 80% of their stations. So now there are hardly any food options and you have to wait in a long, slow line every time you go up to get your food.

I hope this isn’t a glimpse into the future of all of MGM’s buffets.

I wish someone would open a good buffet downtown. I wound probably go once per trip. MSS had a bland buffet. It was OK but not great.
Many years ago, GN had a really good buffet.

Didn't the Wynn Buffet already re-open and then re-close?

Yeah its currently closed, but just a few weeks ago the Wicked Spoon was the only strip buffet back. Now there's 4... I'm surprised Wynn has not reopened again by now

Buffets take up a lot of space and that is at a premium downtown. That is why off-Strip properties like the Stations do so well with them.
