It's been a bunch of years since I've been to Las Vegas and redeemed MyVegas rewards (6-7 years), so I need to re-acquaint myself with the redemption rules and restrictions. I've got more than $2 Million points, and can redeem up to 6 premium awards at a time.

I'm redeeming a 2-night stay at Aria (full comp) through MyVegas. No paid nights. Am I going to be restricted from redeeming $50 in freeplay in MyVegas because I don't have any paid nights there?

The white freeplay rewards in MyVegas seem to have exactly that restriction but I think there's a $25 "red" reward in My Konami that costs more than the MyVegas freeplay (75,000 points), but doesn't seem to require that I stay at the property I redeem it at. Is this correct? Could I theoretically also get $25 of those red freeplays for Bellagio, Mirage and New York, New York too? And for the last reward, try to get the comped complimentary Mavarick helicopter Night Flight too? Would all that work together as the 6 premium rewards?

I assume the $75 F&B credit at Aria would NOT work because the room has to be booked through the F&B offer (since I'm getting the room comped through another reward/offer, that won't work).

They tend to enforce the paid stay limitation, but you can try it if you like.

Yes, but you also have to use the $25 at the casino you redeem it from.
That isn't a MGM Resorts reward and shouldn't count against your 6 premium rewards limit. Good luck getting one though.

    Correct.

If you like Thai food the 2-4-1 Entree at Lemongrass (Aria) is a great reward (non-premium). Food and service were terrific!

How does one find out how many premium awards one might have?

Look at the T&Cs. It should tell you how many premiums you can have at once. bingo also tells you in the wallet section as well.

I have the same question. Staying at Bellagio for 2 days through my Vegas in September if the border reopens.

I have a lot of points. I plan on going alone. What can I use in terms of rewards as a single person who is staying at a comped room...?

    Just to name a few:

    MyKonami freeplay
    Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay
    Several different 2-for-1 drinks
Food credits at Diablos or Public House @ Luxor

What do the red free plays look like that you can use even if your room is comped? I haven't seen those on mykonami yet.

How on Earth does anyone accumulate that # of points? The only way I see the coins accumulate is through time bonuses, it feels like you'd have to play for hours every day for years to get anywhere near that without buying coins.

I stay pretty steady at 1.2 million points. I'll buy a room or two, and get back up there in a couple of weeks. I don't quite remember -how- I earned all my points, but I've been playing off and on since 2013. I think it was much easier to earn points off the Facebook version back then.

It seems damned near impossible now. It seems like the only way to gain coins is via the 100 time bonus every 5-10 minutes or so. At that rate, even if it hits every 5 minutes, you'd need over 2,000 hours of play to hit 1,000,000 - let alone $2M+. Who the hell has time to play 5+ hours a day for a year in order to get to 1,000,000? :snore:

Welcome to the current state of myvegas. LP are cheap (just take a few months off and they'll give you more), but there is little actually worth spending it on. It sounds like you've spent enough to be getting the 2 night comps at least. From there your best bet if you dont mind casino hopping is the mykonami free play in terms of extracting value with genuine savings without it being a glorified coupon that gets you to spend for "savings".

LP used to be ridiculously easy to accumulate. I used to put an occasional $20 into the game and I was able to rack up over 3 mil LP pretty easily back in the day. I have been sitting on 2 mil LP for about 2 years with nothing to really use it on. I would never put another dime into this game

I did most of my play back around 2014-2016. I bought small amounts of coins every once in a while. Yes the accumulation rate was different back then. But then, there was more to spend the points on too. I got Cirque de Soleil tickets back then, lots of buffets and food credit - all of this as a single. There were a lot of possibilities that weren’t B1G1s. Now, other than room comps (which are great, don’t get me wrong) and $25 Konami free plays, it’s tough to spend a lot of points as a single individual. Yes I would like the maverick comped flight and Mandalay aquarium pass but they’re always sold out.
