Hands per hour is based on number of players. 1 player is about 209, all the way through 7 players which is 52. Since 5 dollar tables are usually full it plays about 4 times slower.

Yes, and also on the number of decks, whether it is a CSM, auto-shuffler or not, number of dealer changes, deck change-outs & rack-fills...and (of course) the speed, competency & friendliness of the dealer.

    So one player 209 hands of action. 7 players 364 hands of action——is that correct? (7 x 52) ?

Ate dinner at SW and walked back thru Encore on the way back. The 3 roulette tables had gone to 25, craps table to 50, and 2 of the 4 3/2 tables to 50. 2 UTH opened at 25 and 1 3CP at 15.

LOL brings back memories of my buddy turning 21 in the late 80s and going to AC. The Big Six was a buck, the only game we felt we could afford,, and when we hit the 40-1 we felt like kings!

So wife and I walked some of the Strip past couple hour from 8-10 pm. Only casino we stopped in on west side was Bellagio. Craps a mix of 15 and 25, blackjack was 15 and 25 at 6/5, 50 and 100 at 3/2. Roulette was 15, but did see a 100 single 0.

On way back on east side, tried to do a little scoping of the CET corridor between Cromwell and Harrah's. BJ a mix of 15 and 25 6/5 everywhere, the same with craps and roulette. There was a $5 3CP at Cromwell, and I did see the "Shoot to Win" craps table at Harrahs with the digital felt and chipless betting. It was $10 min and, tbh, looked kind of cool, although I think I'd prefer regular craps.

Venelazzo appeared to still have the partitions at pretty much all of their tables.

Wynn at 10 pm was kind of ridic. 4 craps tables open, one 25, one 50, two were hundskis. Also saw two roulette tables at 100 mins. Didn't even check BJ. Encore's craps were actually lowered to 15, roulette was 25, 3/2 was fitty.

And you cheap ass Big Sixers had been raised to $5 at Wynn.

I'm gonna try to hit Fremont tomorrow before I depart, but likely will be early morning.

Absolutely and also drink spills, player capabilities, and a multitude of other factors too.

Yep, obviously this is an estimate based on historical average, and the quote above carries weight too, but the reality is a lot more of the delays in hands per hour are going to come on a full table vs a 1 player table too. So I would venture to say that hands per hour on a single $100 player are more likely to be closer to the historical average than the full table.

Such a shame about the fall of Cromwell - thats my home base and their great BJ games at 3/2 and even $25 baccarat and Pai Gow, plus almost always $10 or $15 craps was great. If the BJ at Cromwell is now 6/5 then we are gonna have a big sad face...

Hail to hail2skins for his reporting efforts - i promise to payback everyone in June!

The last two trips (mgm) if the craps tables empty they lowered the minimum to 15. Once they had 2 players they would bump it up to 25.

Did a quick walk through DT (sorry, no ElCo) this morning about 10 am.

Circa: $15 across the board (no carny open)

    Gate: $15 craps, 2 $10 3/2

    GN: UTH $5, Roulette and craps $10, DD 3/2 $25 (no DAS), 6D 3/2 $15, 6D 6/5 with $1 mandatory side bet $10

Binions: Roulette $10. Calling this place a morgue would be insulting to morgue. Craps was not open.

    Fremont: Roulette and craps $10. 3/2 DD 10 and 15 (3 open tables), 3/2 6D $10

4Q: Roulette and 6/5 $10. No craps open

    D: Craps $15, Roulette $10, 3CP $10, four 3/2 tables mostly $10

Plaza: $10 across board (craps, Roulette, one 3/2)

No tables open at Cal, and DTG's sign indicates they only have tables Thurs thru Sun

GN, Binions, and 4Q still had partitions up at the card-based tables

Agree, this was my favorite casino to play blackjack. Pre-covid, they had at least 2 DD 3:2 tables at $15 and $25, got to grind on those all day with great cocktail service and great dealers. I went last month and, while thankfully I saw a lot of the same faces I had last seen 18 months prior, this was the first time I didn't have too much fun.

Hopefully later on in the year things self-rectify, but I doubt it given how El Dorado has shit on all of the fun properties insofar as drink service and table game rules.

Im going June 6-10 for the first time since Nov 2019, so we shall see what the state of The Cromwell is at that point. Agree on the great dealers and service, lets hope somehow the gambling conditions are not too bad...

Prior to going last month, Nov 2019 was also my last trip lol. Fingers crossed you get the old rules and drink service, as well as win some cash!

I would hope now that the casinos are at 100% capacity, and the plexiglass and masks are gone, they would stop doing that. I don’t see how an increase from $15 to $25 would attract more people to make it a full table with a lot of action.
