It took what seemed like an eternity for the craps tables to even have a spot open. The demand for gaming is back! Tables at Beau were 2x $15 and 1x $25 - even when I finally grabbed a spot at 11pm. It was a choppy night, but still played for 2-1/2 hours and only left $25 of my bankroll downstairs. Maybe tomorrow is the day I take the bank?

There wasn’t the same energy at the table tonight as last night, but the price of admission for tonight’s activities were worth it to me.

Enjoying your report! I got this email this morning re; our upcoming charter trip to the Beau in June:

    Updated Mask Policy

In line with CDC guidelines, MGM no longer requires fully vaccinated guests to wear masks while on property. However, per TSA orders, all passengers must still wear a mask while in the airport and onboard the aircraft for the duration of the flight.

Thanks! Are all of the restaurants open? Have you or the Mrs been to the pool? They had it closed earlier in the spring, supposedly for renovations but I'm guessing mostly just a coat of new paint. As a side note, I really like the (semi-new) sports bar...great spot to eat, drink, play VP and watch a game:beer:

We haven’t had a chance to check out the pool, and from our room you can’t see the pool deck. We did try going there on Sunday evening to get a sunset view picture, but the area had a sign saying it was closed. Will try going by today to see if I can find hours.

Here’s a rundown of what I have seen the past few days. Granted things could be different if you’re here on a Fri/Sat as we arrived on Sunday.

Don’t know about the steakhouse as those typically aren’t where we like to have meals. I haven’t witnessed anyone outside it’s entrance or doors open at all.

Stalla has been open in the evenings and packed. You’re most likely not getting in without a reservation. I say this because when I was claiming the MyVEGAS reward, the MLife attendant asked if we had a reservation so I presumed it meant if I didn’t have one, “good luck!” The tables are still socially/distanced and look like they are partially into the gaming floor since they have an “outdoor” portion blocked by barrels and trees. Maybe it was always like this, I don’t know, but just looked to be the case.

Noticed that Jia was open Sunday night but closed yesterday. Don’t know their schedule.

Most locations along the path from the parking garage to hotel entrance I couldn’t tell you about as we have been using the front door mostly.

BetMGM Grill has been pretty busy in the evenings from seeing people line up at the hostess desk. Told us about an hour wait last night between 7:30-8pm, but took about half that to get seated. Staff was very attentive.

The buffet has been getting a line in the afternoons and evenings presuming during the dinner changeover (or start as I don’t know if they are open for breakfast). Seems to move but definitely a wait for entry.

Just getting to this TR and havent read it all yet to see if this is already out there, but both Treasure Bay and Palace have real tables with $10 engraved signs last I was there, and Treasure Bay sometimes has $5 real craps.

    We love that place.

You're getting me pumped for a Biloxi junket. I don't think we've been since 2018?

    Thanks for dropping by!

With how small of a casino that Treasure Bay is, I was honestly surprised to see craps was $10 when all the other tables had lower minimums. It was nice to see them busy, but it felt cramped and hard to get around.

Haven’t made it over to the eastern part of Biloxi (like the distance from Beau to Harrah’s and Golden Nugget area, or even to Hard Rock is really far :haha:), but haven’t ventured that direction yet.

This is our first trip here, and been having a blast. My aunt and uncle used to live near the coast in Gulfport for many years, but moved shortly after Katrina pummeled through.

Glad I can help get the Biloxi blood pumping. When’s your junket arrival?

For those of you wondering about the pool including @Dean Martin. It is open daily from 9am to 7pm. Disappointed it’s not open later for sunset viewing because that would be amazing. Here are some photos of how it looked this morning. Hardly anyone there because it’s overcast and very windy.

Assumed you would have found it by now, but if not, just FYI, the marina on the west side of the building is no longer open to the public, but, from the casino, there are several sets of double doors in the southwest corner over by Snacks and BetMGM - immediately adjacent to Snacks actually, and you can go out those doors which are to the second level of the old marina entrance - good sunset views there, facing west right down the beach, and I've often seen a lot of fish in the water down there too.

Edit - found a picture I took from there below - and also, just remembered if you want some awesome sunset pics, the top level of the parking garage has an awesome vantage point as well being on the western edge of the property:

    So for the big cliffhanger....
I must confess I’m not a Waffle House fan, but I promised the wife we would go to breakfast there before leaving. So this morning made our way over to the closest one to Beau. Who knew there are like a dozen of them within a mile or so it seems? Anyways, we get to WH and wife orders her usual ham and cheese omelet....

    I ordered the cheesesteak melt....

The food was good which is very surprising to even hear me say! Yes, that was my confession. While we waited for a seat, we did see and talk with Tim and his buddy that were at the hot craps table the other night. They were getting breakfast before heading back to SC. Wished them well and hopefully one day we can get on a heater again.

Well I could have told you that Waffle House location is awesome. We went for breakfast every morning. Considering all my food is comped off back end at hotel, that’s saying a lot that I’m spending real cash on food lol.

Glad I’m not the only one who likes driving thru old cemeteries. We had a rental so we did that in January (we were at Harrahs so it would have been a long walk). Got that from my mother. She used to witch cemeteries too.

Thanks for all the Biloxi info. The more you write I find myself getting the itch to get there. Funny as we in GA know there is a Waffle House at every interstate exit and most other places. Appreciate the table news as I am now trying to figure out how to bet the craps table with $15 dollar bets. Keep the news coming and GOOD LUCK.

Best way is to play smart especially when you have the itch to play. They’ve only had two tables open today (15 and 25), and they have been packed nonstop. Each have 10 players at the current moment. There are 4 tables sitting empty but they may not have the staffing to open additional tables now.

Sounds like you are having a great Biloxi trip. If you get to Hard Rock, you need to go to the restroom that is in the back right corner of the casino. Don't tell the wife why, but you both need to go at the same time. When you walk in to the restroom, you'll get a surprise ! Also, did you get to see the tree sculptures in the median of Beach Blvd on your way to Treasure Bay and Island View ? If not, that will provide you with a reason to go again. Goods luck and enjoy your last night in Biloxi !
