@Flowers is La Cave the place with the tiny napkins? Hubs and I went out to dinner tonight and they gave us little napkins and I was thinking that you'd mentioned small napkins somewhere. Was thinking of bringing regular sized ones along if it's Ka Cave.

    Happy birthday to me!
Let’s check Garth off my nieces bucket list!

I’m digging the Terrace Pointe pics/reviews @Flowers. When I booked my June trip I made breakfast reservations there for 10 of my 12 days.

Love all the Dragon Link hits as well.

BTW, any crazy long lines or problems getting a lounger at the Encore pools?

Continued well wishes on the gambling front and hoping to hear about some of those “touchdown” deposits at your bank. :):):)

Oooooo. They made some changes to the tasting menu since I've last been there that look really good. The gnocchi and halibut in particular sound v. intriguing. I love Sparrow + Wolf so much. I've always sat at the bar and enjoyed watching and chatting with the bartenders.

Good morning!! Still no comeback, so three days now to do it but, for now, I am about to enter my happy place and use the stream and whirlpools at the Encore Spa before my facial!!

Talk to you on the other side of bliss!

Congratulations on being the first person I think on VMB to be able to use those beautiful Encore Spa facilities since reopening. I made spa appointments for my wife and myself for the Wynn spa at the end of June since it will be a weekday but I am really hoping that Encore spa is back to 7days a week operation by that time so we can reschedule for the Encore side.

In Post #602 Flowers gives an update on the Spa. Not sure that it specifically answers your questions but just in case you missed it.

i know the amenities are open, so this wasn’t really a question for her, more just a statement of what I am hopeful for. I just made the appointments two days ago and they told me they weren’t sure when the encore side would be open beyond the current Thursday-Sunday.

A little birdie told me the Encore Spa is hopeful for seven days a week by late May/early June. I am thinking by your and my late June trips that it will be seven days a week. I will test it out soon as I want to make appointments for my mom and me for late June/early July and I am going to try and book during the week.

My treatment was glorious and even the facials can use steam now. Thank you Lord!

It was so blissful being in the steam room -- solo!! -- and even having the whirlpools to myself for 20 minutes. This is what it must feel like for Oprah and Gail. If they are ever at a resort and want to use the facilities I assume they just open them an hour or two early just for them to have for themselves. You can have a steam in a hotel room in some places but there's nothing like these facilities.

You need to wear a mask while walking around and while on the lounge chairs but not in the whirlpools, steam, sauna, etc. And they still want to limit communal touching so they will give you your towels, cold washcloths, etc. rather than having them laying out.

I am the phone police in the spa :) but with absolutely no one around to benefit VMB!! I took a quick pic of the chart on the wall that shows the ideal order of using the facilities. I always found this helpful and some of you may find it helpful as well.

The Encore Spa shop (no pics below) and retail shop (pics below) are small but fun shops with lots of cute things in them. But I don't want to rush to use what are now almost $1200 Wynn comp dollars (though I did get a purple Encore t shirt/love the gray one I alreay own), so I am going to see if I can use comp dollars to buy Wynn gift cards. If so I will do that and I can save them for later and not feel rushed to just buy stuff.

I took a pic of the chart that lists some of the electronic products that can be purchased with comp dollars. It was displayed in the Encore retail store.

Doing one last bank run :( (until deposit time!) and then I am saying goodbye to UX Bonus Deluxe. I have just played in Encore for 30 minutes on $200 on a regular UX machine playing DDB and of course just 3 hands in held one Ace and got the other 3 with a kicker for $1k as there was a 2x multiplier. Yet, over the past few days I have been dealt trip Aces, 2, 3s and literally dozens -- seriously DOZENS - of times and not connected playing 10 hands. The couple of times I did it was typically without a kicker or a multiplier. But apart from the bad luck I can totally feel the extreme volatility of TDB UX Bonus Deluxe verses DDB regular UX so that's my game of choice for the last 3 days as I try and turn things around. I just wish I had made that pivot earlier!

Oh yeah, it is great to have fruit back in the spa and the lavender/gold dusted popcorn, chocolate covered cherries and homemade granola except the containers now are just for display. They give you little bags instead. Got some today though they had run out of cherries. Getting a lot more tomorrow before and after my massage to take back to NYC! :)

Dark for now but that's changing very soon. Yay!!

Vegas is back. I can't believe on July 10th I will be in Allegiant Stadium hearing Garth Brooks with 70,000 other fans.

To you scientists who worked in unprecendent fashion on the vaccines, first responders of all kinds, and others that got us to where we are today and can be in the future, thank you and God bless you!

I went trick or treating at Garth Brooks' house one time. I was 16. My friends and I dressed as a landfill (it was an issue in our area back then). We wanted to see if we could get away with it. We probably should have been kicked off the property on first sight. But Brooks was a sport about it, laughed, and gave us candy, lol

So I feel a but like a Vegas local at the moment. I have got some crap deep in my camera, pretty sure in the sensor area, so I need to get that cleaned and fixed before heading back out to Death Valkey for stargazing Tuesday night. Ryan, the owner of Elite Custom Adventures, who is so my guide, told me yesterday that the forecast is for very clear skies during the darkest night of the year! So I am really excited. I just need to practice using the telescope.

Anywho, I asked the Wynn concierge for a recommendation for a camera shop and she recommended B & C Camera. It's at the intersection of W. Sahara and Arville, about 5 minutes down Sahara past Palace Station.

I just left there. The place and the service is awesome. My camera should be ready tomorrow, but for photographers this place is Disneyland. It's like a B&H (of NYC) but just smaller focused just on camera equipment in Vegas. They were pleased to hear Wynn recommended them and didn't even provide a second choice.

I bought some cleaning supplies and a cool t shirt that was also on sale for 18 bucks.

Pics below. They also rent equipment. Love this place and it's the place to go if you need any camera equipment or services while in Vegas.

They even have pens, which I thought were cute, and stickers. Don't need a sticker or a pen but when they offered it I of course said "sure!" :)
