May 2021 Roll Call

Got the all clear from work, so gonna do a nice Mid-Week escape from the 12th-14th! Still TBD on location, but feeling I may do downtown strictly this time. Love the strip, but got a little old since I stayed there the vast majority of my last trip. Debating on splurging a night at Circa, but will likely stick with the D or Plaza.

 

the 14th thru 18th with my bride (she is the self proclaimed Buffalo whisperer and has the W-2's to prove it!)....anyone else doing South Strip that weekend?

 

I get in on the night of the 16th. Plan to be all over the strip 16th-20th.

 

So I now have everything locked in:

May 12-14 Four Queens
May 15-16 Arizona Charlie’s Decatur
May 17-18 The Cal (called in a favor with Boyd’s Downtown Marketing Director )

Will probably head down to the strip on May 17 (Monday) but if anybody has any ideas for a meetup on any day I may very well be interested

 

I finally got my dates confirmed for May and will be there on my birthday may 31st thanks to my host for helping with reservations.

May 30th to June 2nd Golden Nugget gold tower. I like the gold tower because its close to the casino, beds are comfortable, and there are tables to eat in the room. It was really easy to get around when I stayed there end of February to bring food back up to the room and is an easy walk to all the casinos. Celebrating my 35th birthday (age is only a number). Also my party and I will be all fully vaccinated.

 

May 16-21.....I went 4 times last yr in May during the shutdown, my friend lives in Vegas and we went to the strip and downtown, so surreal to see it like it was. Anyway, also went in July, August, and October so next month will be my first time returning since a October. I’m so ready!

 

@FloridaGirl, or anyone else for that matter, I’ve never been to LV in May, usually go late fall/winter. Can you offer any first hand advice on temperature and weather? Trying to plan for packing. Thanks in advance!

We moved up our trip from mid-June to May. The last time we were there was for Super Bowl weekend 2020. It seems like 100 years since we've been there.

 

This will be my first time going that part of May but I’ve been the last week, Memorial Day and was around 100 degrees.
