Is this some kind of April Fools thread? Who comes on VMB and says 'ew, too many trip reports'.

lol, not a joke. Still, trip reports, especially live, require significant effort (or at least it does to make them interesting). Not sure I want to committ to it unless I know a good number of people are going to read it. But as of now, there's at least a hundred people that voted in favor of reading a vegas report and an additional 37 that want to read about rides and theme park food. So thats enough to motivate me! I will start the actual report in a new thread either Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

Now, the question is, what do people want to see or know about from the report? Before my report died last month, I had a good list of things people wanted to see. So chime in now and tell me what you want!!! Staying at Cosmo and planning a brief stop at Bellagio and one evening at CP. Anything you want to see or know about in those areas shouldn't be a problem (as long as I don't forget). Anything beyond those areas, well mention it anyway! Maybe I will end up other locales as well

I really enjoy your TR's - live or not! With respect to theme parks, I went to Disneyland for the first time in 2018 at the age of 40 and loved it! I would therefore also enjoy a theme park TR.

    Enjoy your trips, my friend!

I'll tell you what I will do. If you do a TR with theme parks, I will do a trip report from New Orleans and Puerto Rico next week.

    Deal??

I don't do a thorough read of the stuff in my Trip Reports a lot of the times until I get home. Then I see some of the posts and you can often see the booze taking effect. On one recent TR is appears I was in Harrah's and had no idea I made it in that place.

I think the board would have my head if I didn't agree and you didn't report. So, sounds good

Not to mention, I really would love a report from PR. I haven't been there in decades and my partner and I are thinking about going there next year

I agree with @Sonya, “If you write it, people will read..”. That’s the beauty with these types of boards, you don’t have to read anything that you feel “sucks”. Can I do a better job on TRs? Sure... Do I put pics of low level slot wins? Of course. But the way I see it is someone might love that slot or VP machine and get some sort of joy out of it. We all are here because we have a common bond, and I for one appreciate anything Vegas. And other places are just a bonus!

With all that in mind, can’t wait for the TR @UKFanatic !

Don’t go out of your way....some high stakes chip porn from Caesars. I don’t think we see much of that here. Again. That’s if you plan on gambling there....

Ditto this. I’ll even grow a Gimel Martinez mustache for you.

Wait...no I won’t. But we can talk about how Rodrick Rhodes was the worst player in the clutch in NCAA history. And then we can reference this lost classic...one of the best games I’ve ever seen. BRASSOW! BRASSOW!!!

I will put chip porn on the list!

As for Caesars, the last time I tried to play there, I couldn't find an open seat I liked in the high limit. So hopefully they have more tables open this time. if they do, I intend to play

Someone said in their TR that they were writing it for their own entertainment & if anyone else also enjoyed it, that was gravy (paraphrasing). I like that mentality. I didn’t vote because I will read the TRs that I choose to read irrespective of whether it’s live or post trip.

Personally I like to read about significant bets and the thought process on why you bet the way you did. It’s not always gonna work out but when it does, it’s spectacular. If it doesn’t, well...we’ve all been there (at some level).

I appreciate any and all trip reports. I find it amazing that people will take the time to share their experiences with us and I look forward to every new one I see. I must admit if I ever tried to do a live report when I am on vacation my wife would toss my phone overboard (cruise) or my phone would wind up in Bellagio's fountain.
