    Godzilla vs Kong - HBOMax

The popcorniest popcorn movie in a while.

I almost slipped into my daisy dukes and went outside to catch some rays as I figure it must be July.

I enjoyed it but by no means is it a good movie.

Not streamed, but I've been watching "Dr. G, Medical Examiner" and wow! If you ever need to scare someone near and dear into taking better care of their health, this is the show to have them watch! Direct evidence of what sustained bad food and drink can do to you! It's certainly making me think.

We ran out of data (reset tonight) so haven't streamed much this week - did watch the first episode of High Seas (Alta Mer) - a Spanish "soap opera/murder mystery" on Netflix. We watched dubbed in English but you can watch in Spanish and/or with subtitles if you prefer. I don't speak spanish other than a bit of restaurant/menu/tourist, so.....

We really enjoyed. It takes place late 40s, but on an earlier era (art deco) ocean liner. So far so good - I was really bummed not to be able to watch more episodes this week. Think there are a few seasons so not sure how it will play out re: storyline or characters. Set design & costumes are gorgeous!!

The Dirt (Motley Crue documentary) - was entertaining in a 80's teen flick movie way. Worth a look if you were a fan.

Easter Sunday Night I watched on HBO Max Bee Gees How Can You Mend A Broken Heart.
Enjoyed the movie but was wondering if someone could help on a guitar riff that I heard on the movie.
There was a still of 461 Ocean Boulevard with Clapton standing in front of the house with the riff playing.
Was that Clapton playing and if so what was he playing so I can try to find that track.
    Thanks in advance.

@MikeOPensacola Thanks for trying, but that is not the right clip.
I'll keep on looking for the right one (if I ever find it)
The clip with the guitar riff started with the cover of Eric Clapton 461 Ocean Boulevard with Clapton standing in front and the palm tree on his left.

    Netflix - Bonding Season 2
2 years between seasons was too long
1st 4 eps the humoujr was too sophisticated and subtle for me.
last 4 eps started to make sense and I enjoyed.

I think am officially done with watching Silverado and Tombstone ever again. Watched both of them within the last week. They have been a couple of favorites forever. I can’t watch Dances With Wolves again either. I’ve seen them all enough.

Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel - Netflix.
We usually love true crime stories, but we gave up on this after the first episode, it was so repetitive! If you can tolerate sitting through this, be prepared to see the exact same CCTV footage inside a lift ad nauseam! If the whole story had been condensed into one hour and produced properly then fair enough but in the end we just looked up the full story online.

then watch quarantine episode, #2 best in season

then watch LARP episode released today 04/16.

then get ready for season 2 may 7.

Them (prime) not to be confused with THEM (radioactive Ants).

The former really opens your eyes, the later a great 50's sci fi movie with Matt Dillon (Gunsmoke)

I watched the 6 episode season of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+. Worth watching. Anthony Mackie’s acting is pretty good within the context of a Superhero movie. I think some of the MCU stuff can be hit & miss but this one was solid.

I also watched Palmer (Justin Timberline movie) on Prime a few weeks back. Cute movie.

Started Mare of Easttown on HBO Max last night. Only one episode in but it has a good cast and seems to have good potential. It is a crime drama.

For All Mankind - Season 2

    sci-fi/drama revisionist history
season 1 started on the premise that the Russians were first to land on the moon.

Season 2 shuttle program is full effect and continuation of space race

revisionist, sci-fi and political aspects up my alley
family drama tend to drag imo.

Both seasons worth a watch. season 2>season 1
