South point. Where I lost $120 on $500 of triple play $.25 NSUD. Won $50 FP on the kiosk game which I’ll play off tomorrow.

Quick stop at Tuscany. For a locals place, they seem to change out their slot selection pretty quickly.

Phew...glad you posted the pic of the Moscow Mule. For a quick second I was worried that you've run out of awesome things to eat in Vegas this week and opted for a donkey entree. :p :p :p

Loving this TR and all the pics.....

Virgin Casino was pretty underwhelming to me. I was never in the Hard Rock so I don’t have a good feeling of what has changed - but most of the resort seemed renovated.

The big miss for me is very limited casino bar space. There is a small bar set off from the main floor that seats ten. And a small bar in the high limit pit room that seats eight. It just didn’t seem to be enough bar space. And, in fact, both bars were packed while the rest of the casino was mostly empty.

The sportsbook is tiny. I hope that this is a temporary book while they are building out a better space. Because if this is the finished product it’s a huge miss. There is a sign up as saying betting coming soon, but it kind of looked like the space was finished but they hadn’t set up their betting operation yet.

Some of the restaurants look interesting. I’ve been meaning to try NOBU for a while. And Casa Calavera looked like a happening spot. And the ice cream - I could definitely try the adult ice cream place when it opens.

So Nobu is actually a holdover from the Hard Rock. :). Glad it kept its place.

As a follow up - I just saw on the Las Vegas Advisor site that Virgin's sports book will open in May in the old Hard Rock Vanity Nightclub Space. It will be a mutli-level mixed sportsbook and restaurant concept. So that sounds WAY better than the tiny little book they have right now.

Tomorrow's Plans - Work, Pack Up and Move to Silverton, Light Gambling, Dinner at Americana in Summerlin, Who Knows?

Behold. The best chicken fried steak I’ve ever eaten. Johnny Cs diner. In an RV park near Silverton Casino. A hidden gem.

Ah, good ole' Jokers Wild. Too bad the tables are gone, they had live $1 craps with 10x odds in 2017.

That picture does make it seem empty. They aren’t seating at the counter because it’s open right to the kitchen. I actually got the last open table when I arrived at 11 and it remained mostly full during my visit. It isn’t a very big place. Maybe 10 tables. Plus I think they had some outside seating as well.

Hey @eliza what are the craps minimums looking like? Did you happen to catch a glimpse when walking past them?

Great royal at the Cal! I played profitably on that same machine earlier that day. You're welcome for leaving you the royal :)

I have a feeling we probably spied each other at the Cal or Binion's that day.

Checked into Silverton earlier this afternoon. Definitely a downgrade from Palazzo, but perfectly adequate.

Work kind of blew up this afternoon. So much for tomorrow being an easy day - but if the weather is nice I might try working at the pool for part of it. Done for the day at least - let the fun begin.

That is indeed a homemade biscuit on top of the CFS. It was actually my favorite part of the plate - though everything was good.
