Nothing officially booked yet, but I’m shooting for May 16th-21st. My vaccine should be in full effect by then so would love to have a VWM meet up.

The trigger has been pulled and I will be in town from May 19th - 25th. Only definite plan right now is staying at Southpoint on Friday and Saturday night since i'm bowling in the yearly US Open tournament which was postponed last year in Reno and its so much easier to just stay right there. Still working on deciding where to stay the other four nights (2 groups of two nights). I haven't left Charlotte since September 2019 and I am so ready for this trip. Also decided to splurge and flying first class on Delta. Hopefully a few more things will be open by then but I am fine either way...the last 18 months have been rough and ready for some much needed R&R.

Booked May 21st - 24th! A "birthday trip" (really just an excuse), first solo trip, and first trip to vegas since we had our first kid. It's been 3-4 years and I'm ready!

I will be fully vaccinated by then and Bellagio felt like giving me a free room all weekend with FP and RC so everything lined up perfectly.

/Edit: Also, what on earth is this EDC thing?! Electronic music isn't really my thing but it would be cool to see the light shows. Unfortunately, being sold out I'll just have to wait for someone to post a youtube video about it or something.

Update: Had my Covid vaccine Part 1 on Wednesday with Part 2 in 3 weeks. While I won't be careless or reckless it is one thing I can feel better about.

Arrive5/12, leave 16th. Me, wife, daughter and her significant other. Get my 2nd shot this Sunday, wife gets hers 2 weeks later. State is now open for everyone over 18 so maybe the young’s will get theories by then.

Doesn’t hurt the price wasn’t too bad for First Class. Again, if anyone wants to get together for slots, VP, meet and greet let me know! 16th-21st as a reminder.

I’m game for meeting up. Hopefully we can have a group meet and greet, but if not, I’d like to break up my gambling solitude with some conversation other than swearing at my slot machine!

My April trip got canned and rescheduled for May 15-18. Finally making up for having last year's trip to the draft cancelled!

My thought process for this trip was to break out of my comfort zone and stay in places I have not stayed in before as this will be my first solo trip as a single guy and wanted something new this trip. So I booked my 2 comp nights for the backend of the trip at Belaggio...Thank You My Vegas! (Well thank you me for all the playing I did...lol). I am very much looking forward to staying at the Bellagio for the first time. Then I was all ready to book the first two nights of the trip at the Nomad in an Atelier Suite as I have never stayed there before but the price had jumped $40 from the day before. Slightly disappointed I decided to look around at the other MLife properties and came across the Luxor suites had dropped dramatically in price. So while I have stayed in the 1 BR Tower Suite at Luxor before, I decided to book the 1200 sq ft Pyramid Premier Suite for $110 a night (pretty darn good I thought) and this will be my first venture in the expanse of the great pyramid. Is that a lot of square footage for one person? Probably... but I like options and the inclusion of an empty refrigerator and decent size soaking tub helped me decide.
The countdown is on and the vaccines are flowing through the body. Let's Go!!!!
