Bellagio rooms

First time staying in Bellagio. Mlife comp.
Basic room.

Any rooms to avoid? Fountain view not important, any guidance on which rooms to ask for? Staying mon-thurs late april, so a comp upgrade may be possible?

I always make sure I'm in the main tower, so it's not a hike to/from the room everytime.

 

Agreed. The main tower isn't exactly dead center either, but the spa tower is all the way at the back end of the property. In addition, the spa tower rooms max out at a "partial" view of the fountains. The main tower, facing the fountains, is spectacular (and there's a channel on the TV that plays the music, too). Whether that would be an available comp upgrade in April, however, is anybody's guess.

 

If you do not care about fountain view, there is not much else to ask for. Other than being in main tower. Next level of upgrade other than fountain view gets into suites. Note that Salone suite is just a larger room with a large bathroom. No separate rooms in that suite.

Spa tower is good if you tend to head towards Aria, etc.

We like the mountain view in vegas. Very relaxing compared to the neon overload of the strip. But i can see the attraction for some, especially first timers!

There is the Resort Tower King at 626 square feet, that's a step up in price and size from basic Resort King at 510 square feet, but I think that's the only thing, other than views, between basic resort room and Salone Suite level.

 

Bellagio is the only MGM resort that still offers smoking rooms, so that may give you something to request/avoid. I'm told they're hard to come by.

 

They might be willing to upgrade you since EVERYONE else is asking for fountain view, LOL

I love the resort tower king room. The tub has jets and is near a window so you can enjoy a soak while looking out over the strip.

 

I stayed there in August and October and the Spa Tower was closed so I’m guessing it still is. Stayed in the Main tower and asked if there were complimentary upgrades and I was offered a fountain view for $40 a night. I didn’t take it, both times I was facing Flamingo Rd/Ceasars and Mt. Charleston.

They are remodeling the basic rooms now. I’m booked in May, hope I get to stay in one. My friend is there now, she said the smoking floor is blocked off for remodeling so they moved her to a suite on a non smoking floor.

 

The Spa Tower reopened a few weeks ago. When it reopened there was brown water coming out of the faucets.

I think the rooms that look over the pool give you a nice combination of Mountain View and the pretty pool area. Enjoy your trip!

 

The spa tower was still closed last time I walked by (which was AFTER this tweet was made).

 

I read up on that tweet and it was claimed that video was made during maintenance workers flushing pipes out because that tower has sat idle for a year and that it was not opened to guests at the time it was taken, but that it was part of prepping the building to reopen to guests.
