Next week. Had Covid about three weeks ago, so I'm getting out there while I'm still "safe". It's my Christmas present from the wife. She's the best!

I have a trip planned for end of February. I get my second vaccine shot on Jan. 6th and that gives my immune system about 6 weeks to build up to F covid up if I come in contact with it!

I go in for my annual "Wellness Exam" in mid January and I'm sure gonna ask if a documented case of an occasional idiopathic bigeminy counts as a "heart condition" to get bumped up on the list. I'm really not aware if it's still happening or not, but it was discovered some years back and I was sent to a cardiologist who sent me to an electrophysiologist who said more or less "Yeah, you've got an occasional bigeminy, so what?" and said not to worry about it unless I started having missing beats and feeling faint and such.

Had to cancel my trip on Sunday - not concerned about the virus but my work wants folks to quarantine for 14 days if they go out of state and although I'm working remotely these days I need to be in the office for a few days next week so I'm following the rules. Now of course the degenerate thing to do would have been just go and not tell anyone at work but gladly I haven't sunk to that level yet! Vegas will still be there in February.

Good for you, Andy. It's the me-first sentiment of far too many keeping this thing rebounding at massively increasing rates.

that could be it or maybe it's just the way the virus works - based on the history of previous pandemics this will eventually burn itself out... personally the one thing I love is no longer having to commute! They'll have to drag me back into the office when this is over because I'm just fine working at my kitchen table!!!

Starting a new job in January! It is mostly remote. I can't really plan anything yet, but I do know my brain is going to start planning after a few months of experience. I might not get vacation time until the following year, but even then, being remote, I can coordinate to leave Thursday night, work Friday morning, have all weekend, and maybe a Monday off (make up for it on the following Saturday).

Earliest I'm hoping for? May! It really depends on my parents and covid-19 status!

Yes, I’m in healthcare and I have a lot of high risk patients so it was a no brainer for me. Ive cancelled 2 Vegas trips already but my January 29th trip will be a go! Btw - I had the first dose on 12/17 and no issues. Felt great all week.

By definition bigeminy is a heart condition so you would not be wrong to check that box. But I do agree with your docs that it’s a benign heart condition.

Yes @booker I am a hospital pharmacist and we are running vaccine clinics 16 hrs a day trying to get all of us who want it, vaccinated. (we have about 10K employees) While I am glad that I received my first dose, I am worried about the rest of my family. Finger's Crossed we all can put this pandemic behind us by mid to late spring! (which is very optimistic but I think more people who want it will be able to because of all those who are going to refuse it, just me speculating.)

We missed my mom's 80th birthday in September, so I'm hoping after vaccines that we'll be able to go back summer 2021.

I seriously miss Vegas. Like fucking seriously.

I'd go now if I weren't worried about bringing back COVID to my family.

I don't like socializing in my regular life. It's all business and work. But in Vegas, I always truly enjoy meeting strangers while gambling. Winning or losing, tables are never boring.

Plus I also miss the food. The food. I always tell people who don't get Vegas that it's not only the gambling...it's also got incredible food. I miss the restaurants.
